PREVIEW: Swansea City v Hull City

The feint top six aspirations of Hull City have fallen by the wayside now, but hosts Swansea City find themselves in the exact same boat as the Tigers were last weekend. The Swans must win to have any hope of gatecrashing the top six, but they also need results elsewhere to help them out.

Liberty... to do what we like?

With Tigers chief Nigel Adkins still in protracted negotiations with the club over his future - and shamefully in a position were his current contract expires in a few short weeks, despite the stellar work achieved to date - it's difficult to second guess Adkins' mindset ahead of the clash. Loanee Mark Pugh definitely won't be involved after breaking his toe, so he returns to Bournemouth, cutting his spell short with the Tigers. Don't be surprised to see a few of the kids given a run out under the circumstances.

Surprisingly, Swansea City have lost all five of their latest encounters with Hull City. Needing a victory today with no buts, the hosts could introduce Leroy Fer and Joe Rodon to the fold, after both came off the bench as late substitute replacements on Easter Monday, following spells out injured.
