SUMMARY: Brentford 5-1 Hull City

News has been seeping out of the club that it is likely neither Evandro or David Marshall will be getting their contracts renewed, while captain Markus Henriksen is also believed to be in the same boat. Couple that, with the manager's comments pre-match that a fire sale is a possibility in the summer and it doesn't take a genius to work out the bubble has burst. Well done the Allams, another business masterstroke.

What? Really?

Onto the game and let's not waste any time dwelling on this match, either. City took a 24th minute lead when Campbell swept in. It was as good as it got for the Tigers as just four minutes later Mokotjo levelled matters. Two more first half strikes from Benrahma on 33 and 43 minutes gave the Bees a comfortable 3-1 half time lead.

It didn't get any better for Hull City as the match progressed. Indeed, just 7 minutes upon the restart and Brentford were already tucking in their fourth of the afternoon through Maupay. The Tigers were lame in midfield and shot at the back, giving the hosts the freedom to run riot. A predictable fifth of the afternoon was added on 81 as Benrahma completed his hat-trick.

Never mind the play-offs, have we got enough points to stay up?
