PREVIEW: Aston Villa v Hull City

Confidence is flowing at Hull City right now - and there can seldom be a time when the Tigers may well be considered favourites at Villa Park given Aston Villa's spluttering form, but the reality is; Nigel Adkins has turned the club right around. Season in the sun?

Adkins will be boosted by the news that first choice striker Fraizer Campbell is fit enough to be considered for a starting place, after overcoming a hamstring complaint. Jackson Irvine remains in competition at the Asia Cup with Australia, meaning Kevin Stewart will continue to deputise in midfield, hoping to continue his rich vein of form.

Aston Villa boss - Dean Smith - is struggling to find the winning formula on home soil, failing to win any of the last five outings at Villa Park. Striker Jonathan Kodijia should be fit to make a start, while Andre Green has been recalled from a loan spell at Portsmouth. Jack Grealish, however, remains sidelined with a shin injury.
