PREVIEW: Hull City v Norwich City

While Hull City continue to dangerously flirt with relegation - and appear to be staying up courtesy of the ineptitude of those clubs around us - surely, there comes a point when you have to start doing something for yourself before it ends in disaster? The writing remains firmly on the wall. Well, today is that day for the Tigers. Simply put, they need to beat Norwich City.

A win, any win, now!

Nigel Adkins has had a funny week. Slates his brand new signing - Angus MacDonald - straight after the Millwall defeat in midweek, then tells us all he shouldn't have picked him anyway because he was ill, just days later. Smacks of desperation, right there. And it is desperate. The saviour of Hull City could be Abel Hernandez. The Uruguayan striker returned to score when coming off the bench on Tuesday after six months out, but will he be risked a start v Norwich? Ondrej Mazuch could also return to the starting XI in defence.

Norwich City have found their feet in 2018 and have so far only lost once in the league this year. However, the Canaries have conceded in their last 12 meetings with the Tigers and not won 6 of their last 7 visits here. Manager Daniel Farke is without Christoph Zimmermann and Marco Stiepermann, while James Maddison is a doubt with illness. Nelson Oliveira could play after being dropped on Tuesday.
