PREVIEW: Nottingham Forest v Hull City

Somewhere in and amongst the absolute off-field carnage going on at our football club, Hull City's vital game at Nottingham Forest has been trampled under foot. Yet again, the Allams cause huge notoriety and discord by cancelling the meeting with supporters this week - at the meeting itself. How the Allams have the barefaced audacity to talk about respect after pulling that stunt, beggars belief.

Under the rubble, is a manager creaking under the pressure and clearly struggling for support from said owners. The Allams talk about having a reasonable chance of selling the club while in the Championship, yet don't invest a penny into the squad despite Premier League funds rolling in and oblivious to the fact that we are actually in the relegation zone. You couldn't make it up. Nor the fact skipper Michael Dawson won't be available... due to deadline day drama with Nottingham Forest themselves. Whatever the club say...

The hosts, still smarting from not getting Michael Dawson, despite the fact Hull City's captain being in Nottingham and poised to sign at the 11th hour of the window, will undoubtedly be motivated to stick the knife right in to our wounded club. Striker Daryl Murphy should be fit enough to return - and although Liam Bridcutt has served his recent ban, the midfielder has now collected a groin injury and will be absent for the match.
