SUMMARY: Millwall 0-0 Hull City

Hardly the result Hull City actually needed, but given the circumstances, a point on the road at a notoriously difficult Millwall, isn't to be sniffed at. Any point away from home is a good point, as the old cliche goes - and when you chuck in a clean sheet to boot - all things considered, we've had worse Tuesday nights in the capital.

However, City were made to work for their share of the spoils from The Den. Indeed, Slutsky's side could well have been trailing as early as the 5th minute, but Gregory fired wide when well placed to score. The Tigers created a couple of decent chances of their own - both falling to in-form Bowen - but the City youngster failed to convert either, as the teams went in level at the break.

It was the Tigers who started the quickest upon the restart. Fraizer Campbell found himself with the first chance of the second period early doors, but choose to pass instead of shoot, which saw the chance go begging. The hosts upped the pressure as the match moved into the latter stages and visiting keeper McGregor pulled off two smart saves when Hutchinson and Ferguson spurned good heading chances to clinch the game for Millwall.
