PREVIEW: Derby County v Hull City

It seems like an eternity since Hull City last played, but the 4-0 thumping of Bolton Wanderers was the perfect tonic ahead of the international break, that briefly placed the Tigers in the play-off places ahead of the Saturday matches - and provided manager Leonid Slutsky his first clean sheet since arriving in the summer.

On loan signing from Chelsea and England U21 star Fikayo Tomori could make his debut, along with striker Nouha Dicko who signed from Wolves, but Jackson Irvine may have to wait, after travelling back from Australia's recent game in Japan. Markus Henriksen has recovered from a foot injury, but Fraizer Cambell is rated at 50-50 following a recent groin injury.

City's recent track record when travelling to Derby County is good, with four wins from the previous five visits - the last of which was the rousing 0-3 trouncing in the Championship play-offs. Manager Gary Rowett has declared recent signing from Leicester City - winger Tom Lawrence - will be making his debut against the Tigers. However, deadline day signing from Birmingham City - Maikel Kieftenbeld - will not be making his first appearance, as the EFL have failed to ratify the deal.
