NEWS: Madness! Knight bolts to Porto?

On Tuesday, Marco Silva left UK shores and pitched up in Portugal - his home country - to meet up with FC Porto officials, following the sudden sacking of their head coach, as the future of the Hull City manager is becoming abundantly clear - and as expected - it's unlikely to be with Ehab Allam.

Knight in shining armour lances City stay!

The meeting evoked a deal in principle that would see the promising Portuguese manager return to his homeland and take over the reigns of FC Porto - and all this, just ahead of a pre-arranged meeting with the Hull City board today (Wednesday) where the future of the board, the manager and club is scheduled to take place.

Barring a miracle bigger than the one Marco Silva himself prophesied on the day he arrived here to keep this club up in the Premier League, it will be a case of the Silva dream machine, revving up his engine and speeding off to his home country, with a little piece of Hull City's heart taken with him.

Good luck Marco!
