PREVIEW: Everton v Hull City

A hard weekend ahead for Hull City, as they travel the Premier League's most in form team, in a bid to build on the excellent result over Swansea City last time out when recording a welcome 2-1 victory. The Tigers have the motivation to grab the win over Everton, as a maximum has the potential to take the club out of the bottom three, but the hosts are in a red hot streak of form, claiming the most points of any team in the top flight since the turn of 2017.

Marco Silva will be without goal scoring centre forward Oumar Niasse who is on loan from Everton and therefore cannot play against his parent club. His four goals in ten matches is going to be sorely missed. Markus Henriksen is back in training after a shoulder injury, but is unlikely to feature just yet. Michael Dawson and Evandro both remain shy of fitness for a return.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has really turned events around at Goodison, as the Toffees seek to apply pressure to the current top four. However, news in the blue half of Liverpool has been dominated by the story that top scorer Romelu Lukaku is not signing a contract extension as it stands, citing a lack of ambition by the club. Leighton Baines should be fit after suffering a knock, but James McCarthy and Muhamed Besic are ruled out.
