PREVIEW: Leicester City v Hull City

Hull City are chasing history tomorrow at Champions Leicester City. Not since the 82-83 season have the English title holders suffered a double over them at the hands of a newly promoted side. Incredible then, that this match is a pivotal relegation encounter. While the Foxes have cowered under their crown, the Tigers have found their teeth and the match now has huge significance in respect of matters in the nether regions of the Premier League.

New and inspiring Hull City boss - Marco Silva - will welcome back Sam Clucas from suspension and Lazar Markovic from a recent injury. In form defender Harry Maguire - chasing his first England call-up - will need a late fitness test on his knee, but has a decent chance of making the starting XI. However, Dieumerci Mbokani has suffered a hamstring pull and could be sidelined for six weeks. Evandro, Michael Dawson, Curtis Davies, Ryan Mason, Will Keane, Moses Odubajo and Markus Henriksen all remain on the treatment table.

Leicester's all-conquering title win last season is in danger of becoming a nightmare given current form. Resting precariously over the relegation trapdoor, Claudio Ranieri was sacked last week and ex-Tiger coach Craig Shakespeare inspired a 3-1 home win over Liverpool last time out. Was it a flash in the pan, or something of substance? Is it a good or bad time or bad time to play Leicester given the circumstances? The caretaker will be without Molla Wague, but keeper Kaspar Schmeichel should overcome an ankle knock.
