PREVIEW: Hull City v Burnley

The Tigers took a week long break in Portugal for some warm weather training and team bonding, as new manager Marco Silva continues to build on some surprising momentum for the club, given the recent - and quite frankly horrendous - run of Premier League fixtures against the English elite. Conscious his players needed some rest and recuperation, there seemed no better destination than Portugal to fulfil the need. The question now is; will it enhance the current good run of form?

Bash the Burnley bogey?

The miracle work that Marco Silva is undertaking will now face arguably it's sternest test to date. Bogey side Burnley roll into East Yorkshire this weekend, a side City have never beaten in the Premier League. Yes, you read that right, never. Silva will be picking a team that won't include Sam Clucas while he serves his one match ban. Dieumerci Mbokani has been struggling with illness to blunt the attacking options, but Abel Hernandez could recover from his niggling hamstring strain.

Incredibly, Burnley have not won away all season and even more remarkably, only picked up one point on the road this season - an unbelievable 0-0 draw at Manchester United. Snap! You just know that something has to give this Saturday. Typically, it's City succumbing to their predictable defeat to the Clarets with one of the ex-Tigers - Boyd, Brady or Marney - netting the winner. It's a Premier League rule now. However, Sean Dyche cannot select Johann Berg Gudmundsson or Steven Defour due to injury and Jeff Hendrick is suspended
