PREVIEW: Hull City v Liverpool

An invigorated Hull City side will take to the field against Liverpool, but if form was anything to go by, you wouldn't think City are heading to the Championship and Liverpool to the title. The Tigers have been impressive under Marco Silva and won all their home fixtures since his arrival, while the Reds have won just once in nine attempts this year - and even that was a scratchy 0-1 win against basement league side Plymouth Argyle in a cup replay.

City have really upped their game and form to earn a creditable 0-0 draw at Manchester United in midweek. With Dieumerci Mbokani back from the African Cup of Nations and deadline day signings Kamil Grosicki and on-loan Villarreal midfielder Alfred N'Diaye receiving clearance to play, both could make their debuts for the Tigers. Lazar Markovic cannot take to the field as he is ineligible to face his parent club. The Tigers will be fighting to preserve a three match unbeaten home run against Liverpool into the bargain.

Visiting boss Jurgen Klopp has been hugely complimentary towards Hull City earlier in the season when explaining the Tigers are not a 'bus parking' team - and now, has been suitably impressed with new manager Marco Silva's arrival, leaving the German with expectations of a tough match. With a fully fit squad to select from now Sadio Mane has returned from international duty, City can expect to feel the full Liverpool wrath this Saturday.
