PREVIEW: Hull City v Manchester City

Finally, it seems like the fans are getting under Vice Chairman Ehab Allam's skin. Somebody has earned a christmas bonus from the loathsome City owner to deface the excellent Hull City Supporter's Trust billboard on Anlaby Road. And to think, this is the season for goodwill to all men? With these two turkeys in charge, fat chance of that.

Tigers v Hunters in Allam's addled mind...

On the pitch, Head Coach Mike Phelan will welcome back both Josh Tymon and Ryan Mason from the recent minor injury and illness troubles as the Tigers look to build on an excellent performance at West Ham United last weekend. After dominating the game and hitting the post three times, City really need to start finding the net, or they will become the 22nd of 25 sides in the Premier League who have been bottom on Christmas Day to be subsequently relegated.

Manchester Hunter City manager Pep Guardiola has been hugely complimentary about his hosts ahead of their visit to East Yorkshire for this Roses clash. Hull City attempt to play football, he says. And we do... but we just can't score. Or keep clean sheets. Sergio Aguero serves his fourth and final match of his ban, but Fernandinho can return from his suspension after the Chelsea flare up. Pablo Zabaleta will require a late fitness test.
