Apparently some are upset at a football song being sung by Man City types celebrating their league win...

How do these people get through life, constantly looking for reasons to be offended....!?

Keep it, don't hoof it...

Do you remember before the M 62 was built?
A six/seven hours trek over the Pennines to visit Brunton Park.
Carlisle with a sandy pitch and players such as Alan Ross in goal, little Willie Carlin (the ball was bigger than him) Chris Balderstone , cricket pro as well.
We sung on the terraces..............."One, two, three and a bit, who put Carlisle in the shit" T I G E RS Tigers.
We could never sing that today lol.
Yeah, how times have changed PC gone barmy.
A long journey back, especially when we were robbed with a Chillo disallowed goal in the last minute.
I'd eaten me sarnies as well before we pulled out of Brunton Park.
A good apprenticeship in those days

Remember singing...….We hear the sound of distant bums, over there, over there,
and if they come we'll hammer 'em.

This was at Ayresome Park, 1968, and at half time they did.

I remember the Harry Roberts song which seemed to go without recourse at the time. Probably a tad non-pc these days.

Did the Town full of Bombers song actually get sung or is it a myth?
