Dr. Ranjan Varghese claims to be the “owner”of Gateshead FC whom he bought for a quid and now reckons to be selling for a quid.

Where have we heard that before?

All bar 4 players and staff have been sacked by the owner. In an appropriate response, the fans have moved to form a new club and opened a crowd-fund page for donations, only for that to be hijacked by Dr. Varghese with an identical funding effort in an attempt to dilute the new venture’s finances.

The local council have told the club to find a new venue due to unpaid rent at the International Stadium. There’s a transfer embargo and a winding up order against them for unpaid taxes of £20k. N Ferriby again?

Then there is Joseph Cala, business partner to Varghese. Cala has a history of fookin things up in football, at Portsmouth and Morecombe. His first job at Gateshead was to sack all the turnstile operators. Odd that as they say they need 2000 per match with an average of 650 this season. One wonders how 2000 people get in without using the turnstiles.

So, no ground, no players, transfer embargo, no money and hoping to sell the club so he can get a £200,000 bond returned.

Dr. Verghese is working out of Hong Kong so clearly in touch with the local community on this.

Gateshead finished in 9th and just missed out on a playoff place for promotion to the EFL. Pride before a fall perhaps but lest we forget, Gateshead is the founding father of our very own egg chasing stalwarts Hull “auld faifffull” FC, and never let that be forgotten.

The English shit sandwich, Cheats old bean, pat your head whilst sticking a log up your harris.

Britain's economic prosperity from the mid-1980s onwards, although it is often portrayed as a force, has left England as a materialistic and spiritually drained society which still harbours deep social inequality. Footballing follows this.

Talking of inequality, talking to someone this morning whose son runs a golf course in Cambodia.
A round of golf costs £260. The golf course employees are on £60 per month.
You got less deep social equality in a Workers' Paradise with a Communist government in charge, eh?

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

Welcome back Gully. Obviously had some time off setting up the Brexit party, well done, I’ll vote for it if they are doing it via twitwhatsagram.

Just wondering, does your manifesto have anything in about unpaid gambling debts?
