Frying pan/fire springs to mind as serial bullshitter Ken Anderson aims to sell to a SPV with “Middle East connections”. That’ll be some blokes cousin in Leicester then.

According to Anderson, players and staff getting paid late happens all the time, nothing new. That’s ok then, not his fault since he only owns 98% of the club. Lest we forget, the chap who wrote off £185,000,000 as forgiven debt had to bail him out with another £5m only hours before he died.

Maybe the High Court will get their revenge in first. Shame for the fans who as always end up with the bad end of it all.

And as if things couldn’t get any worse, Big Fat Sam threatens to return, so long as new owners have deep enough pockets to pay his compo when he under performs, again.

Super John McGinley thinks Ken Anderson should go.

Laurence Bassini.

Prospective new owner of the Trotters, so long as a “couple of things” ironed out. The relationship of ironing and laundry should not be lost.

Formerly bankrupt at least twice and banned from being involved in any English football club for three years you can only imagine what lies ahead for Bolton Wanderererererers.

Currently hanging by a High Court thread, if this is the best they have, better it go to the wall and start again in the non-league arena.

From what has been written, millions are still owed by the club. The Davies loan for £5m is just one of many still being promised and not receiving cash, some are fellow football clubs.

You might hen expect the FA to stand up and deal with it. Instead they give Bassini a free pass.

RIP Bolton Wanderers.

Notts County are rallying and now level on points with 22nd-placed Yeovil in the basement. If Notts County are relegated and Bolton wound up, that'd be two of the remaining eleven of the twelve clubs that played the first season of the football league leaving in a short time after 130-ish years in the league. Of the original twelve, Accrington (NOT Stanley, note) disappeared in 1893, and, of the other eleven, Stoke spent two periods outside the league, both prior to WWI, leaving ten that have been in the league ever since (debates about whether "in the league" includes those who have been in the PL saved for another day).

Yeovil, of course, have their own claim to footballing immortality, but as giant-killers rather than for their own later football league efforts (except in the Hull City history books, of course).

Crying shame.

They did beat us 6-1 in the 60's so eventually it is pay back time!
I would think that Super John Mc Ginlay does want rid of Anderson like everyone else lol.
It's a good job Nash that you're still a popular man, otherwise the red card would have been out for you a long time ago!!!!!!

But things do change of course eg the working man's pint to the plastic corporate vino.
I won't sprag you.

The jury is still out regarding missing your Friday night sessions.
You were as popular as the boy Levy on Look to the North but forget the South.

Tigers, Tigers burning bright........

Overall I am an ardent fan of our local broadcaster come fanzine leader. Dofs bobble hat.................

What do you say other than, pleased it is not us, this time.

Bolton chaps starring down the barrel of administration and liquidation. Bassini coming up with Jack as expected, dodging that bullet just brings the end a tad sooner.

They say someone somewhere will take it on. Maybe, but out there is £30m in debt to be written off, on top of the £180m already gone.

Good job we only have £50m in debt then.

Ah yeah, I forgot that.

It’s often remiss of people not to recognise that the policy of no concessions (against league rules), minimal investment in the team, attempted name change etc is the new paradigm and not related to the reason why the crowd is decreasing below that experienced when in division 4.

We’ve never had it so good.

Yeah, plus we've been recognised by the EFL for 'Family Excellence', this despite:

No concessions for kids
No concessions for OAPs
No concessions for disabled

Football, don't you just love it?
