Comes in for a lot of flak, but today, I actually thought he did a job for the team.

Birmingham never quite worked out - even after 86 minutes and attempting to build up a head of steam - coming in from behind against Martin is always going to result in a freekick to Hull City. He won so many fouls, it was laughable Birmingham never twigged he's going over. It broke Birmingham's rhythm and was exactly what we needed to do against Rotherham.

We're learning. I'm learning. Hell, Adkins can even improve him.

Best game in a City shirt for me.

Now then...

Totally agree... Used his positive attributes well, linked up play, short passes, was a handful for centre halfs and even pressed too... Dickho should watch him and learn.

Keep it, don't hoof it...

Twigged long time back that he was a very clever player, and didn't (doesn't) deserve the flack.
However, he had a decent scoring record a while back. In front of goal he should be making more of the service the likes of Grosicki, Bowen and now Pugh can provide. Something was obviously not right, and Nige alluded to it recently. Hopefully onwards & upwards for him now.

Heh!

Bullet header last night.

From a yard out, admittedly.

Interestingly, for the first time in his career at City, was actually in the precise position where you want your 'Big no.9' to be.
