Remember when he first joined City I thought he was shocking, but he grew on me and became a decent player for the club. Seem to recall his career ended with a broken leg in a pre season friendly v Donny Rovers. RIP.

Awful news indeed, Jenks. He was right on the cusp of my time commencing and regularly watching Hull City, but still, a terribly sad loss.

RIP Bobby.

Bobby improved a lot and he never really recovered from that brutal challenge by Dave Cusack in a pre season friendly against Donny.
Think he then became a lorry driver?
RIP Bobby, taken away from us far too early.

RIP Bobby Doyle.

I never rated him too highly and where I stood in BP and the away terrace, not many did. That said, plenty of effort and a City lad, so due respect.

I did see him nutmeg the keeper at Barnsley one hungover New Year’s Day in a 1-4 trouncing of the yokels. Pissed it up in Garforth on the way back for a hair of the dog. Good day.
