Today's result keeps the silliness at bay...

Promotion indeed.... Clearly the players should want to play there, but I've no desire to get back up there...

Cheering a point at home, never getting the elusive 3rd season meaning what's built is then dismantled, soppy punditry, top six bias...

Championship football for me... Far better.

Keep it, don't hoof it...

Over the years, decent runs have often been interrupted with a 0-3 or similar. Today's was the first league away defeat in 3 months, but at home we had the iffy 0-2 against Forest.

In 2007-8 we'd gone 5 undefeated before Xmas, then lost 0-3 to Preston and 0-4 to Southampton, before losing only one of the next 12, and revenge was later well served upon Southampton.

I also recall City getting rammed at Bolton 4 or 5 - 0 when we were enroute to the promised land. Expected to win, tripped up.

Not least, can’t now get relegated. If they meant it they would have signed some players, like a center Arf.

Cheer3d a few up.

Let's not forget the F A Cup Final as well.
We never want to play in that again.
Sod the Europa as well.
Cmon you little Bournemouth Cherries.

No, of course not... Can you seriously say that once we'd gotten there that it was an enjoyable experience. I'd love to get promoted, but the entire PL competition is so completely biased towards a handful....

Fulham spent 100 million to have a good go in the big league. Burnley, seemingly, have spent fook all during their tenure. Do I want City back in the prem? Immediate answer is Yes. Do I want to watch City be brutally butt fucked, while huffing and puffing and making a fist of it, see millions spent on some badge kisser who wants away not much after he signs, do a Bartlett and see the the club sold for a quid, (sold to someone who may make the Allams look halfway decent), end up relegated and all the badge kissers do one to the next mug punter? Be plucky little Hal?

Still yes. Fuck 'em, always liked gatecrashing parties.

Didn't Burnley buy Brady from some relegated team? I lose track.

My hope is that when/if we go up again, we go up thanks to one or, better, two decent goalscorers, and they come along and get to play for us in the PL, instead of one of them being a loanee and the other a pensioner.

Tend to agree, P.

The Championship is far more exciting, but the kudos of being in the Prem is incomparable.
