So there's us all thinking they've lost interest and all the while, they're as ambitious as ever...

Hurray (those Allam's are little tinkers aren't they!?! 😜)

Written by the 'journalists' at HDM without even the slightest questionning of the twats.
And, as much as I like him, more fool Nige for playing along with it.
Actions speak louder than any words, and the actions of the past 3 or 4 seasons have spoken volumes. And the only action so far has been to ..... yep, lose 2 more players.
Cloud cuckoo land.

There were no words there that said Bowen and Grosicki would not be sold. There were no words there that said new players were coming in in January.

Either Adkins is in on the ruse or he is as daft as he looks.

I’d be happy to be badly wrong.

I don't believe a single word they utter.

Or the Allams for that matter.

Discussions reached an impasse in November over payment and contact has been one way from the Allans asking when payment will be made and a recent one stating that the team has guaranteed survival in the league and shown to have right quality for promotion push.

Back on topic...

Realistically, what else could the Allams say?

"Oh haven't you heard, we're not investing any more money into the football club. Ever."

We all know the above will happen, they just can't be seen to be saying it.

Now then...

I thought they did say that.

Even if not verbatim, it being “for sale” means not much investment in the future.

They have lied, so I wouldn’t expect them to say anything credible, even after they have gone.

It wouldn’t surprise me if there’s some truth in this as I’ve mentioned previously. Promotion to the PL means an easier sale and more money for the Allams.

What a load of bollocks. "To take the club global, you need a strong name. I don't want to create a new name. I do not want to change it from Hull City Tigers to Hull Viking, or Hull Allam or Hull whatever.

"For 110 years, the club has had City and it has had Tigers in the name.

"Now we want to shorten the name to go global - like Coca-Cola, like Twitter, like Google. You will never make it if your name is Hull City Association Football Club Tigers Ltd. You will never make it."

He doesn't want to change the name from Hull City Tigers. A bit difficult as we haven't ever been called Hull City Tiger. He couldn't find a single football fan, City supporter or a supporter of another club who has referred to us in that way. Anymore than anyone has referred to us as Hull City Association Football Club Tigers Ltd. He thinks we should have a short, snappy name like Coca Cola. Has the clown not considered that only ourselves and Port Vale have two words each containing 4 letters like Coca Cola in the football league.

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

I found the whole Allam name change to be as ludicrous as Trump. Full of lies and gross inaccuracy, destined to fail, yet at the same time never attracting the global ridicule it so sorely deserved.

Should Dyke have continued and he had a tad more time in the Prem, I reckon this would have gone through. After all, the rigged votes were pretty close.

Much as I lambast the HCST for turning in to a warm lettuce butty, the predecessor and all who pitched in, made a damn decent fist of fending it off.

It’s a bitter sweet pill that the team has gone on a decent run recently, likewise that the Allams presided over a successful period for the club. It is what it is.
