There were reports to the Control Office that there may have been a mass suicide or a gas poisoning of a number of fans in the West stand during the second half, but fortunately it just turned out to be 40 or so visiting Hull Tigers Southern Section on a rare home visit. Emergency teams were told to stand down when one of said fans was seen to cough gently and the rustle of stern frowns from the surrounding audience evidenced sign of life.

Various travelling Dutch and Norwegian tourists remarked on the eerie silence inside the KenHom, likening it to a cavernous deserted fjord and akin to being in space.

Revenge for their last minute winner at BP some years ago, a half way line lob of which sent us down.
It was either their winner or equaliser, I think the former.
I wonder who big John Kaye was rooting for?
