Not sure who've you been talking to or what your line of inquiry has been, Obi old bean, but Alan is desperate to get out and adamant he is not going to be the one to put it in administration, so much so that he's entertaining the bottom-feeders of the investment world. Both interest parties were informed that they should put up some sort of collateral and this was nearly 2 months ago, so Alan elder may eventually have no choice in the matter, because you can bet your bottom dollar to a barn dance that they will not fund a loss-making club that they don't want to own and whose remaining fans don't want them.

The investment vehicle is over for them - they haven't invested for 3 years when it was at the top of it's game, and they certainly won't when it's on the way down - they are out one way or the other. Someone should put another call in to Dai Young and his sister, although he seems to be doing OK at Wasps now.

My only source of information is you. Your dad may have no choice but to keep hold of the club and wait for the sun to shine before making hay.

This may or may not be true.

I think it will be sold for around £7-8 million, plus a few add-ons and maybe some residual debt to the Allans, funded mainly by the parachute payment. The figure published will be far higher than the actual cash in bank figure. The buyers (or the Allans if it does not sell) will put it in administration if the club are relegated.

Barnsley went for around £12 million last year, right?, and that was after a decade of good care by the Crynes and with a larger current fanbase.

This is a guess of what may happen in the future.

We will be sold for one pound. The negotiation will be around how much of the debt to Allamhouse will be written off. If Assem Allam will accept 7 million then he's an idiot. That's possible if he's desperate to get out but once he accepts 7 million the price offered will go down another million or so.

If he lets the debt remain in Hull City he's an even bigger idiot because administration then becomes an attractive option for the new owners irrespective of which division we are in.

If we get relegated and the Allams remain owners they won't put the club into administration for two reasons. There are next to no non-football debts other than the loans to Allamhouse. They would receive nothing from the sale of the club and would have to pay the administrator his or her fees and expenses. They would be better off writing off the debt and giving it away for 50 pence to the Trust or 75 pence to Adam Pearson.

If any of what you've written about the sale negotiations is true then Assem could be in a better position financially by leaving the club to Ehab to run.

I have no idea who the potential buyers are nor what the current state of negotiations are.

All of the above is my opinion.

I read she was taking over from Dimbleby.

Mind you, I also heard the Allams giving a gift to the people of Hull and leaving within 24hours, so it might be Bol arks.

Whoever is the lucky winner still has to show sufficient funding for both the EFl and creditors. I can’t see it working, not without the Allams giving something away, a situation most unlikely.

Bugger off Barnsley have the ground so a few mill might be right. city have zilch. I can imagine the Allams are a tad unhappy at opportunities lost. It’s a crappy feeling letting a winning position turn in to a losing position. No sympathy for em tho
