The obvious thing for the local Labour council to do was to install a drink-driver of questionable competence to oversee Hull's roads.

It seems to be the norm in Hull for inept people to be in charge of things.

Anyway, my commiserations to those who've had to endure yet more of Martin Mancey's poor legacy today.

I work near Whalebone & live top end of Beverley Road past Tesco's

North Bridge 'closed'. James Reckitt 'closed'. Bankside 'closed'. Leads Road 'closed'.

Not good.

Illegal immigrant = immigrant = migrant = persecuted refugee = asylum seeker = entitled. Thanks for that B.B.C.

It was always a bit of an embarrassment describing Hulls ring road as, well, a ring road. One always used to marvel at the number of foreigners trying to get back to N Sea Ferries, who were nowhere near it with only minutes to go before sailing time. That six inch square sign on Sutton Road didn’t seem to cut it.

There is good news though. At the crack of dawn last Saturday morning essential work was carried out on the speed cameras on Spring Bank near the cemetery. They were installing more tapes in them and making sure they were working. Be warned.

Snakes alive!

They really are dinosaurs if they’re still using ‘tapes’ .

Mancey’s fault? A bit like blaming Adkins instead of The Allam Family, I’d have thought...

Read this morning on the BBC website that Hull Trains are not only the smallest rail company but they are now the most complained about rail operator in the country.
Things with our roads will also only get worse once the A63 upgrade begins.
The transport network, not only in our city, but in the North as a whole is a joke. But never mind, all’s we’ll down south as millions are continually pumped in to their rail and road network.

Nope, they are to busy dodging the responsibility with Hull City Council.
Supposed to be on the agenda for this year according to one of the local councillors. Its November on Wednesday and I don't see a lot happening. Be probably on the agenda again just before the next local election, then forgotten about.
