Sad to hear about Charlie Crickmore passing away the other day. I didn't see Charlie play but believe he moved on to be a referee in the Amateur league. RIP CC
Sunny old bean saw the sun set over Noah's Ark and witnessed the transcontinental movement of neanderthals into Europe, so there's not much he hasn't seen.
He reffed me in a few games when I played Totally unheard of an ex pro reffing Amateur football and would never happen now He was very fair and openly praised a good tackle, good through ball etc. My Old Man watched him play foot City and said he was a very fine player RIP Old Tiger
Now then S, Quite rare for Chillo to take a pen. Don't think I ever saw him take one? McSeveney didn't miss too many. He used to almost walk up and side foot his pens to just inside the post. Clever pen taker was John Mc. Saw him recently with his son at the lunchtime Senior Tigers do. Lots of prizes donated with a table of them from Karlberg, credit to him. I thought John Mc looked very well and he lives in Barnsley. Tuesday and Thursday nights training with John Mc and Andy Davidson, always enjoyable.
