The plot thickens...

Not sure the Trust should be getting involved in this without a vote from it's members.

The Trust could have a binding vote with half a dozen WhatsApp messages, not such a difficult event as you might think, so long as the new mugs and key ring debate doesn’t go on too long.

My last members email from HCST Newsletter #157 on Friday stated,

We will welcome any responsible owners who embrace Supporters views and look forward to working with whoever takes over the club in due course.
Meanwhile HCST will continue to directly press the club for as yet unanswered questions raised in recent weeks.

No mention of SportyCo, Blackbridge CB or cryptocurrencies, just 10% members discount available at Essence Holistics of 241 Chanterlands Avenue, Hull and 25% members discount at Nudge Websites, a digital and web agency based in Hull, East Yorkshire.

Oh dear, Gull. Its.

What possible interest can this be to someone supposedly with no connections to Hull or Hull City who lives in another country?

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

Yes. I think this so-called National Tiger needs to come clean to the forum and explain what the Jerry is going on.

Despite good intentions, this HCST scheme reads as being rather hair-brained and not voted for.

Lest we forget, this forum was fighting the power and raging against the machine whilst 606 and Amber Sector were demanding a bronze statue of Allan and squealing for Ehab's autograph. We were the armed wing to their mainstream politics, the INLA to their Sinn Fein. So some respect to the remaining 5 of us, who didn't die on the hunger strike, wouldn't go amiss.

Harebrained indeed old bean.

I have just read the sporting oracle that is the HDM, spouting 2, possibly 3 deals to buy the club. It’s laughable almost.

In Jim ?Bowen bully style.....

Innnnn one. P Duffend and his Saudi rupees. He won’t reveal the name of the backer and reckons to be in a period of due diligence. An unlikely tale. Best it can be is he is trying to broker a deal for the Allams.

Innnnnn two. HCST. They say they won’t even look for funding until a deal is agreed. I don’t know the characters but it doesn’t look to have the type of commercial acumen required to drive the club back to glory. Martin Fish Out springs to mind. Wishful thinking by the HCST, no legs.

Innnnnnn three. Mystery buyer. Probably the most likely of the three but it’s just above zero on the creditometer. Actually, just below zero. It’s a HDM nose blow.

And our special guest..... administration. Coming soon to championship club near you.

Watch the trailer. Allams, blow smoke around until Jan. Allams receive large cheque from Premier League. Allams bank cheque from Premier League. Administrator arrives 24 hours after cheque clears.

Wigan going for £20m. Worrying times. I can see it going under. I really can.

Surely banking the parachute money then going into administration would be illegal, Cheats?

It’s like winning the lottery then saying “I can’t pay the gas bill”.

Might be morally wrong, but the Allams do what is morally correct for them. But if they use the parachute payments to pay off debts to themselves or for the running costs of the club it is hardly illegal.
Winning the lottery not paying the gas bill isn't illegal either. It is no different to a non lottery winner not paying tbe gas bill.

As Tim says, not illegal. Might generate some pie throwing at BMW darkened windows and HDM writing some lame shit, but generally they may piss wherever they like with the money.

I'm trusting there is no more breaking news on this.

Not sure why there isn't greater derision on here about the HCST playing monopoly and thinking its real life.

I have for a while had a quiet snigger at some of the stuff released by them but one tries to be respectful of potentially well-meaning folk. This "bid" however is a huge fucking joke and they should stick to what they are best at, getting 15% off envelopes you don't need and badly printed "HCST are for me" scarves or scarfs, depending on I don't know what.

Latest HCST release is requesting if everyone can send in any spare Costa Coffee 'Buy 6, get 1 free' stamp cards. They are going to add them all together and make a currency from it, and using this crowd-funded method, buy the club from Pearson (club probably worth around 4 grande lattes at this point in time).

Sergio Later as manager.

You heard it here first. Another Amber Sector exclusive.

Geoff Bielby last seen in Primark buying one of them tee shirts with a collar and tie printed on the front in anticipation of a series of meetings with Goldmans and JPM.

An offshore investor has just sent them cleared funds, 45,000,000 Indonesian Rupiah.

Deal should be done by tea time. Hope HCST get them flappy things done before Preston Nob End turn up.

you need to get over to not 606 that sort of talk is blasphemy on there......bit like all this talk of thousands returning after the Allams fuck off....apart from a bump in the 1st few matches it won't happen to the extent people think it will.

I will take a look Newland, see if I can spot any potential investors, or conspirators perhaps.

I had a look at Amber Nectar once and I either didn’t understand the process or it was imitating a Tuesday morning in Sunk Island in February.

Let you know how I go.

Notmuchtoseeon606, Cheats old bean.

Apparently, Lambretta man moved away from Hull in the 1980s so he didn't have to attend games any more, Norwich has a larger population and more rustic greetings card shops than Hull, Dennis Booth went to see an Elvis tribute act and Hendrickson hasn't been playing very well since getting the captaincy. That covers the entire forum.

Sounds interesting Gully.

I’ll save the event for a cold Boag or Tiger later in the day after I have answered the Trusts email questions to me on what they might get if they throw a double six or buy and extra couple of lucky dips on the Lithuanian lottery.

I think the club will be sold by January - if the financials are extrapolated, the Allans will be covering a £90k a week loss and faced with the task of re-investing to keep the club in the league if it's not.

I doubt very much that crypto currency and a crowd-funded HCST will be buying it.

A football financial whizz kid has valued City at 40 million ish. Relegation has him value us at 10 million ish. If I was a buyer, I would wait and save myself a few quid.

Not that I'm wishing for relegation, but right now it looks inevitable with the manager and players we have.

Crikey. I had a look at Not606.

Recognised a few names. Sporadic threads on City, the rest I never ventured in to as it looked as dull as dishwater from the titles.

Read the Obi thread on City finances. A mix of sensible stuff and complete bollocks stuff, but that’s opinions for you I guess. Some of the “facts” though were just wrong, hence some misguided opinions.

I won’t be going back anytime soon. CI raw is the only diet for me, that and the FT of course.

Had a quick scan through the news and I see it isn’t awash with takeover bits n bobs, save for Gareth Roberts asking to release the pain.

Odd innit, that even the removal of the Allams is cemented in apathy. Probably because we know what is brewing.

When it gets to administration time I’m bagging that wolly jumper in the trophy cabinet, so hands off.

Dunno Obi. Some seemed to be nothing to do with accounting. I’d go and look but it means going back on the MB, which doesn’t fill me with any joy.

I think a few had considered that the amount of revenue should magically turn in to profit, for which there is no real correlation, least not in foota terms anyway.

No indictment on anyway, just my view.

That's ok. I sometimes miscount or make basic errors. When I worked I'd leave it for a day and recheck. The Allams aren't worth that amount of diligence though.

The surprising thing, at least for me, was how little they'd taken out from the last promotion windfall. If they haven't been fiddling the accounts, which I don't think they have, we must have been really in the shit with our spending. For that I blame Bruce and the old man not Ehab. His crimes against Hull City AFC lie elsewhere. Just my opinion but not a very popular one.

Seems a reasonable opinion to me, and I pretty much agree.
I doubt they've been 'fiddling' as such. However, it's been far from a 'gift' and they've taken their interest, charges, and are doing all they can to get back their money (and maybe more).
I pretty much agree with the 'Bruce and the old man' bit.
And agree that Ehab's crimes lie elsewhere ... including the debacle of how Bruce was (rightly but in the totally wrong manner) got rid of. That's to my mind the main reason for how we end up in the mess we now are - utter incompetence by Enob (and the pair of them being utter cunts of course).

From day one, the Allams stated that they weren't football people.
So, one wonders what expertise if any they have been using to guide them with transfer dealings, management of contracts, at senior, middle and academy levels plus potential signings?!
I dread to think how much money has "slipped" through our net, both from initially, football reasons and then since Bruce's tenure thereafter supposedly running the show as a "business".
Probably more than enough to sell the club today!!!

I think the fact that they also clearly stated "nobody tells us how to run our business" answers the question in your 2nd sentence KK.

They have displayed utter incompetence, coupled with incredible arrogance and stubbornness. And that's keeping it polite.

Ah, thats where I disagree. I think they have been dabbling, but in a much larger way. I don't have the numbers right now, too late and as you say, its not really worth it. That said, aside from the interest, which I have stated is probably lower than it should be, the money they laundered was from sticky sources, which is a far greater crime than nicking the odd biro.

I now also recall some of the 606 banter bout how much should and should not have been given. in the past now cus we are bottom of div 2 and likley be 10 points worse off come 31 Jan 2019.

For me, one of the biggest fook-ups was only getting Silva for 6 months. That said, everyone they knew was only coming to fill in the gaps, they hadn't banked on Marco actually being pretty good at his job.
