On due diligence paperwork, allegedly.

Would indicate a day to day role, rather than just middleman.

Let the banter begin.

Not sure why so many Hull fans are negative towards him. Sure, he talked up the club - but it needed it, he brought the vibe and he bought players that fans would only have dreamed of 3 seasons previous. Yes, he was rather laissez-faire with the purse strings, but that was under the pretext of Bartlett's source not dryng up. Hull fans got a little protestant about his spending once relegation occurred, forgetting that they had seen history being made. After all what has happened with the Allans, it's a point of note that not one Hull employee has spoken badly of Duffen or his rule. Shame he didn't sort the pie forks or the temperature of the Chicken Balti pies out though.

I'd rather have Duffen than Allams.

One blonk eh.

He stole money from the club. Bought rancid players Fell Broon didn’t want just so he could make a deal without the agent and send fees to an offshore account.

A Fukien criminal and no one should forget that. The price for Kamil Zayatte was £1m. We paid £3m. Duffend used to tell his little after dinner joke about how he googled “Young Boys” and then “young boys Switzerland” when sourcing Kamil Zayatte, with the crowds laughing at the prospect of him being a Potential Peado. Who knows, but great humour Paul. Maybe try a takeover in Rotherham then.

Ronnie Biggs was a loveable thief, though doubt one might want him cashing up for you at the end of the day.

Being marginally ahead of the Allams I saw no winning ticket.

I guess the upside is the Carly might come back as one of the Polar Bear pole dancers and Mr. Wright might return with some tales about her, aside from that I can see nothing there to suggest he has the red bull effect City need.

If we are ranking, I’d rath่ have Martin Fish Out ahead of Duffend. Gives some perspective eh.

We don't know anything as yet about Duffen's role or investors, should it happen.
One thing we do know is that the current toxic atmosphere at our beloved club has reached "boiling point"
Engaging with the fans and bringing in a feel good factor again would be well worth a punt IMO.
Unfinished business.
Every cloud has a black and amber lining, learn by "mistakes"

Err, no one tell Cheats how much the Allans have taken out the club...

I wouldn't.
He didn't.
He wasn't.
And he's now older and wiser.
Best we can realistically hope for is some well minted overseas buyer(s) who is (are) prepared to throw some money at it, but with someone like PD or AP fronting it up; meaning someone who does understand what it's about, who will engage and bring some positivity, and who will reverse the appalling actions of the cunts currently in charge. #DareToDream

Getting Carly Duffen back in as manager and selling Jim Bowen to pay off the dock fees of 'Black N' Amber', currently impounded at the Yacht Club de Monaco, would be a great reintroduction for Paul to the city of Hull.

I liked him and his crimes mentioned by Cheats are fairly miniscule on the scale, a couple of million here and there didn't make much of a difference. He caught a lot of the flak that would have been better directed at the owner. Overall his achievements far outweighed his failures. He dared to dream.

Will he be any good? He knows the city and knows the fans, but ultimately will be the front man and doing the bidding of whomever is paying, or not paying, the bills.
