Pretty please.

The figures I based my "out on a limb" predictions on suggest the England-Croatia game is another distinct possiblity for penalties, alas. I haven't picked up any clues about the outcome from penalties yet. Sorry I can't be more help. I will tip all the numbers into the other thread when it's all over though.

Sterling was excellent. A constant threat and terrorised their d-fens. Made a couple of wrong decisions when in a scoring position, if not the score would have been nearer the Panama one. Henderson and Lingard also played well.

A good team performance. Probably the most likable England team since 1996.

Gull. This is a wind up yeah?

Sterling is England’s Diomande. Luckily, he has kept receipts for both the cows arse and the banjo he bought. Perhaps if he took that stick out of his arse and stopped running like a 7 year old girl (apology to all 7 year old girls) he might concentrate on doing a kick into an old onion bag. Hmmmm, running with the ball, excellent skill, well worth 200 grand a week, or not as the case is.

Now for Lingard. If it wasn’t for a fully paid up subscription for flick-a-ball monthly he wouldn’t have any profile at all. Lucky he has Raheem in the team so he doesn’t look as bad as he is. Croatia will crap all over him. Got zero bottle for a midfielder. Last time he tackled someone was? Fookin never.

Ali scored, nothing much else.

I’d change young for Rose, loftus-cheek for Jessy, Rashford for poncy Sterling. Not sure about Trippier, seems to have let success get t9 him. He’s not a winger so why stick to the touch Line?

Bench looking a bit thin now. Cahill can’t live with what’s on the pitch now, Imre Varadi was never good enough anyway. Eric is Eric.

Happy we got so far, wouldn’t be surprised to be disappointed on Wednesday. The final will be tough as all over the park we are behind the frogs and the half frogs, but it’s 90 mins so in with a shout.

20 years ago I’d have been like a dog with 2 dicks. Not fussed now. Might be the City influence or football per se. Maybe football cus messi less so).

Can’t wait for 2022.Qatar is a handsome place to visit. There’s the mall and er, the other mall. Can’t drink unless at a hotel bar, locals hate you, the City is a toilet and there will be another 12 shite countries in the competition. As holders, England don’t need to qualify. 4years of friendlies, yum.

Not worth discussing it anymore, Cheats old bean. You're so out of sync with the vibe. Due to your negativity dragging you down and strange dislike of all British black players, you've missed the bus now, which is a shame because win or lose on Wednesday, its been the most enjoyable ride with the national team for 22 years.

4000 mainly non-English watched the game in the football fan park in the centre of the city nearest to where I live and it was the most watched game so far of the tournament. Sitting in misery at the performance is your choice.
