How ironic is it that the man who Bruce deemed not good enough and sold for peanuts was the one who scored the goal that kept them in the championship 😳😳😳

Ouch for Villa.

Belt tightening on the horizon is the whisper from the Midlands...

Good goal by Cairney (although the pass from Sessegnon made it) but did we expect anything less?

Now then...

I thought the same, rumour was that Cairney after his first team games in the Prem went big time Charlie and Bruce shipped him out, wage demands etc
Watching the game yesterday, it showed Bruce lacked the tactics to change. All their play went through Peaky Blinger Grealish who to be fair got a good clogging, but ran up his own arsehole.
Elmo was elmo never broke sweat and never overlapped
Joan Terry abused the officials
Credit to Fulham, they played good football and Bruce just looked like Peter Kaye’s Grandad
Hope Cairney pushes on in the Prem
Thanks

Ps anyone heard out from ehab

Ehab's hiding from the media, Robertson's tackle on Ronaldo last night added another 10 million to his value.

Players change a lot between 20 and 25 years old. I have never seen him play, but perhaps his standard half a decade ago was below Bruce's expectations.

See Salah at Chelsea in 2014 to becoming the PL player of the season.

Cairney was good enough at City
To small at Leeds, so we got him
If you can play your age is not an issue. Bruce has found that out at his cost. The lad can play.
Even if he kept him, his value would have risen.
You never saw him play? What bullshit is this!

I’ve seen him play.

He wasn’t the player he is now when at City. Although I think he will do ok in the Prem he wasn’t ready when we were there.

Letting him go wasn’t as bad as selling Maguire for only £18m.

Cairney’s performance against Chelsea when he was 19 was outstanding, I’m surprised it’s taken him so long to get back to the Premier League.

Or Robertson for £8m.

Especially when we agreed an £8m deal for Kevin Stewart.

We got £10m for Robertson (which is still obviously far less than we was worth) and we paid nowhere near £8m for Stewart, even the £4m that seems to be the generally accepted fee is probably an exaggeration.

I hope so, by about £3.9m.

So in summary, shit deal for Robertson and shit deal for Stewart, but not quite as shit as the Robertson one.

Well done Ehab, you clown.
