We haven't had a 5-5 before.

I glanced through the wartime games but couldn't see one there.

From memory, only the 8-4 against Whitby and the 7-4 against Swansea have had more goals in the last 40 years, and no others have had 10 in that time. Longer term, we've had several at home (the four double-figure ones) with 10+ goals in, and maybe the odd 8-2 here and there. I know we lost a game 4-6 at Plymouth or Portsmouth way back, but can't think of any other aways with ten goals in.

I just knew this scoreline would prick your interest TOP...

Score five goals away from home and still don't win?

Score five goals away from home and only get a point!

Albeit a point that does now make us mathematically safe.

Ehab gets his final parachute payment, then...

It's certainly provoked thoughts of other figures to check.

Score five away and not win? As per your preview for the

Ten away goals in consecutive games with a home nil inbetween.

The Burton win is the only one this season that Clark didn't play in, In all competitions, he's won 12 times in 30 appearances (W12 D7 L11), and we've won 13 times in 47 appearances (W13 D14 L20). So one win in 17 games without Clark (W1 D7 L9).

This was the 34th 5-5 draw in league history. There was another in a play-off semi.

Too right, innit?

Seriously, who gets embroiled in a relegation scrap with PLUS goal difference?

Only Hull City.
