In the premier league they were the proverbial turd that wouldn't flush.

In the championship they look like they are going to flush like diarrhoea......

Here's hoping anyway.

You know when they say there's always someone worse off than you?

Hard to believe it, given our owners, but fuck me, Sunderland?

Jeez.

Now then...

Not sure the owners were that bad at Sunderland0 to be honest. Chucked a load of money at it and never once tried to rename the club as Sunderland Black Cats, nor punt it in India as the best thing since bog paper.

I think their main downfall has been paying massive wages to shite players. Wes Brown was on £80k a week, Rodwell is still on £60k a week and bizarrely he doesn’t want to transfer to another club paying less money.

Yep, point taken, I was referring to the brazen lack of care for the club, by the owner.

Proper downed tools and neglected it.

What a weird thing to do with an 'investment'.

But not surprising.

As you say, see the Allams for that.

There is never enough investment for the fans. Some owners care, some don’t.

I still refer to Eddie Stobart who wrote off £180,000,000 at Bolton Wanderererererers. I have him down as a “good owner” because that is some fookin write off, regardless of who you support. Ellis Short is doing the same, Aseem Allam is not doing the same. David Gold and David Sullivan are not doing the same, the Glazers are not doing the same.

Problem is, fans can’t get at em, in any shape or form. Oystons are still sticking their dicks in the cups of tea of fans at Blackpool, despite being told in a court of law to fix it. Where is the Prem and the FA? Where are UEFA and FIFA? All raping the good game themselves is where they are.

Fans can’t win, treated like lepers. Apparently the West Ham fans are responsible for the situation at the Olympic Stadium, that toilet of a stadium. How?

Who will pick up the mantle or is every champion of the sport so far in the cesspit themselves it’s too late. Dunno, but it looks like it is fucked in to a cocked hat to me.

Something has to turn, or just go shopping with the missus instead. I’d miss Boothferry Park if it still existed. I wouldn’t miss the KC, ever.

Chin up tho boys, World Cup around the corner and according to Gareth we might just win it. Arf!

Achingly good post, Cheats.

I've been boycotting for four years now - a stay-away fan.

I've not directly put a pound into the Allams' pocket since.

I still go, when a mate/family can't go - I'll pay them for their ticket.

When I can be arsed, like.

And I guess, that's the bottom line now; when I can be arsed.

Football is killing itself, but for me, the Allams put the knife in.

I've feel so far removed from Hull City, I'm like the very thing I despise the most these days.

Owners that don't care about the club.

Funny old game, innit?

Now then...

Was at Ideal Home Exhibition on Sat'day. Only real interesting bit for me (though did quite fancy a bamboo pagoda) was a photo stall that had photo collections / montages of various football grounds. Peering behind the top 6, inevitably taking up all the prime display space, I inquired as to the whereabouts of a 'proper club'? After much discussion re the relative merits of my Hull Tiggers versus his Sarfend Brownios, a Tigger version was produced. What a fucking soulless sack of shite the compilation of 10 or so snaps of an EMPTY KC stadium represented. Brushing away his authoritative views on the photogenic aspects of our stadium, with particular mention of our novel floodlight mountings, alas it wasn't to be so my hard earned was spent on a £10 quid G&T from the next stall along. Staying Kew way, so next day, on what was about my 6 or 7th visit I took the opportunity to do my first ever sober recce of Griffin Park, an half decent throwback to the days of proper football. Good to see the Royal Oak, Griffin, New inn and the Princess Royal all appearing to be still open. Set up nicely for our Bank Hol last hurrah.

For real ale drinkers, don't miss the The Empress at Kew Bridge Station.

Real ale is for perverts.

Gin and Tonic and a soft furnishings exhibition, Peri old bean? It sounds like you need to put your handbag down and re-attach your testicles.

Still cosmopolitan I see Imp.

We’d dream of a £10 G n T down Boat Quay, well done. Talking of which, the price of beer at the Walton St Club was a pleasant surprise. I might join. Walton St, couple a beers, then on to the KC for a carnival of football and excitement.

Anyone else in?
