Looks like Forest want him this summer. That's totally fine by me. I still can't for the life of me understand why Bruce bought him in the first place. If he hadn't we'd have had Chester and Davies in the centre of our defence for much longer, and for me that would have been massively better, without any question or doubt.

Agreed.

To add to this, I also believe that if Taylor hadn't signed Dawson and instead kept Whittle on, the Allans wouldn't have proposed the name change fiasco, banned disabled trampoliners from the stadium, kept the Hull FC groundsmen on, banned Aled Ja'on for ejaculating in a spectator's hair and invested all their wealth from Allan Marine into the playing squad.

Dawson is good player. At the time it did disrupt the centre backs but in the long term, Chester and Davies couldn’t maintain the level they started off at.

Interesting though that a year ago we had the best pair of centre half’s I have seen in a City shirt, Ranocchia and Harold. I think if Moses had have been fit the back four would have been some5ing else.

If he goes, good luck to him. He plays with some spirit.

Steve Bruce seems to favour an "old head" at the centre of his defence and build around that.
Refer also to Villa and John Terry
I think that overall, Dawson has served us well. He's never been blessed with pace and it's even more noticeable this season.
It seems that we are likely to lose him as Forest will be his preferred wish.
Compounded with Dawson's recent investment in a Nottingham business.
Another embarrassing window saw Dawson in a last minute "tug of war".

I dread to think what the summer window has in store for us?!

Odd that Dawson is coming under increasing criticism (past it, exposed, no pace, etc), yet Forest are apparently so keen to sign him and under a reasonably long contract?

Unless we have no owners, I guess what will happen in the summer window doesn't actually need too much thinking about!

Probably as a coach with a view to management?
Meanwhile, we can't see the wood for the trees.

The summer window will bring third party blues.
