It's all so distant it may as well be Alloa, or Sparta FC playing.

Still, no need for hulltigers players to stage their own anti-Allin protest a week early...

Depends on what the business is, personally I try and make it is easy as possibly for people to pay, using what ever option they prefer.

My website is PayPal, but has the option of making card payments through PayPal without having to actually sign up with them.

More and more businesses are now starting to use PayPal for large invoices, I paid two suppliers using PayPal this week, something I couldn’t envisage happening a year or two back.

1) Were there any costs to you paying a large amount via Paypal or did the supplier cover these? I'm assuming it's a percentage thing, like when using Paypal for small amounts?

2) It's obviously instant payment, making it preferable to a bank transfer, I'm guessing.. but what makes it better than paying by business debit card, for example?

Thanks in advance!

To be honest, I’ve no idea what the costs are, the amounts I paid weren’t significant enough for me to worry about it, but I assume the recipient pays the costs (as one of them asked me to use the ‘friends and family’ option to reduce the charges).

I doubt the charges are much different to using a card, but it’s far easier, you just put in the amount and email address and it’s instantly done.

Thanks, there is a reason for asking about payments methods.

A debit card is what? 1.5%? Paypal used to be around 1-3% depending on amount, but I haven't checked it for years. I use something called Vipps, which is free up to ca.£500 and then 1-2% over this, but is connected to mobile phone, rather than email, so won't work in the UK where so many have unregistered phones and numbers.

Does it work in Norway?Wink

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

Every phone linked to a personal Id number. Can't get any bank account, services or government/County acknowledgement without it.
