Am I correct in thinking we haven't scored a second half league goal since December 9th?

You are, but we've only scored in one league game since December 9th.

It’s a generally accepted principle of association football that to win a game your team needs to score more than the other team.

If you don’t score at least one goal, you cannot therefore win.

I read that we are trying, but frankly it’s not good is it.

Maybe we will score bags more towards the arse end of the season. Maybe not. Bit of a bugger really.

We won, 7 shots on target to nil. Must be the worst Leeds team to show up in Hull since Warnock’s time.

They still took a point home though Auckland. We put Warnocks team to the sword. I read some reports. Said both sid3s a bit drab.

Just a total lack of any quality.
The pitch didn't help; it's looking awful, in spite of millions having been spent on it in recent years, and in spite of getting rid of those awful groundsmen.
Sorry to say but the lack of quality was in part down to the tactics that Nige had them playing to. He's not been dealt a great hand, and he clearly isn't getting the support he should have had during this window. But still.
It was crying out for someone to put their foot on the ball, you know, a Huddlestone sort of player. We still have 1 or 2 of them that can do that, and a couple of them were on the bench. But that clearly wasn't the tactic - it was boot it on, anywhere forward, as quick as possible. More sensibly you play such as Growsicki to add the sadly missing pace, and try to play quality football rather than non-league hoof ball (sorry, that's probably unfair to non-league).
It really was shockingly bad. How low we've sunk in such a short space of time. Pretty much everything on and off the pitch seems a shambles these days. Great legacy Ehab you twat.
