We haven't only met them in the FA Cup in 1954.We played them in the 4th round of the FA Cup in 1952. The third round was our famous victory at Old Trafford.
There was a larger crowd at Ewood Park for that game, over 45,000, than there was at Old Trafford rather surprisingly.

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

Of no consequence but I was at Ewood one Good Friday. 10 or 12 of us on the away terrace.

1-1. Jeff Wealands having some banter with us mid game. Difficult walk back to a deserted EYMS special.

In some respects, it’s what I like about being a City fan. In others, not. A not very funny moment was when a copper asked one of the Withernsea lads where the fans where. He said if it wasn’t for Hull and Rovers playing there would be more of us. The copper replied by saving “Hull and Rovers playing who?”

I guess you had to be there, which many weren’t, of course.

Blackburn 0-1 Hull Something.

I'm going.

It beats watching the 'Jamie Vardy derby' that Jamie Vardy isn't playing in, I suppose.

Not sure if the O Salvadore banner is coming with me.

Hope you have a good day today. From the result point of view, I think we will lose. Playing a different squad full of youngsters against a quickly improving Rovers team and I would bet that Danny Graham will get a couple.

60 years of watching hours of football a week and comes out with this, gentlemen.

Hence why the amateur's opinion is always either lucky or wrong. Zero actual knowledge.

Was a great day - and just for once - City didn't ruin it. Although they tried their best at the end, hanging on grimly.

From 110 yards away, Blackburn missed two gilt edged chances during this time.

I recall saying, "That looks like a Danny Graham miss from here."

MOTD latterly confirmed my suspicions. On both counts.

Danny Graham: scored one City goal - and he didn't even celebrate it.

Blackburn look a good bet to bounce back up to the Championship at the first attempt, though.

Scored one goal and didn't celebrate: an 'I was there' moment - he scored at their end and behaved like he'd scored the goal to relegate them three leagues, the twat. I think that match was the first outing of the big CTID banner? Nice to see Swansea stewards signing it.

It is the history that is special, not the words.

Another dull post from me but I watched that game in New York City in an Irish bar. Got a couple of locals to sing some songs with me aided with a few ales.

It might have been the beer, but I recall we got robbed of three points that night.
