that excuse for a Business man /Vice Chairman and his excuse of a father/Chairman are not putting any cash into the transfer kitty am I correct in thinking that they are just siphoning all the proceeds from our PL season 85Mill I beleive.?

We got over £100m last season, but about 60% went on the wage bill and £23m went to pay off the losses from the previous season. No doubt they'll have paid down a bit of the debt, there was some player trading profit as well, but it will be millions rather than tens of millions.

Francis old bean - that genuinely is a very kind offer and one day I will take you up on it. I'm on the other side of the island near Pollenca, but am flying back Saturday lunchtime. However, after this family holiday, I need one on my own to recover, so could well hide in the toilet as the plane takes off and have a week here alone. The 70 cent Cruzcampos go down very nicely.

Do you remember the time before children when you'd see a man sat eating and drinking on his own in a restaurant and feel pity for him, then once you've had children and see that lone diner, all you can think is how lucky they are to eat a steak in peace and drink a bottle of wine uninterrupted. It's funny how perspective changes in life over the same incident.

It's going to be 35 degrees plus next week, so enjoy.

It is surely looking increasingly that way.

The thing that surprised me was that the new kit wasn't blue with blue stripes.

Watford did this to great effect when the I-ties bought em. They had 17 loanees from across the globe, but mainly
Italy of course. It's a bit like cheering for Johanna Konta. Says she is British, yet isn't, or .Mo Farrah of course.

When Chubby Akpom and Issacs came they were here to add to the squad, not be a permanent fixture with no alternative.

It's a shitty idea and they would be best suited to changing Tom Huddlestones contract so he can't be bought for £17.84.

Two bob says he goes to Udders or some shit club like that, replaced by a 19 year old with headphones and gum on a 9 month exchange visa to Hull.

He might well be on his way to Derby shortly.

No matter how frustrating or bad things are at 'our' club, here's a reminder that life could always have thrown us something worse .....

Last week, food corporation Campbell's Soup announced that it will acquire Pacific Foods—known for its shelf-stable, plant-based milk products—for $700 million. According to Greg Wank at business consulting firm Anchin, the deal is important to Campbell’s as it positions the brand to be more aligned with current food trends. “I think the bigger picture here is the continued trend toward organic and plant-based foods,” Wank told media outlet FoodNavigator-USA. “This acquisition is consistent with our purpose, ‘real food that matters for life’s moments,’” Campbell’s CEO Denise Morrison said. “Pacific is an authentic brand with a loyal consumer following. The acquisition allows us to expand into faster-growing spaces such as organic and functional food.” In the last year, a growing number of large food companies have acquired plant-based brands, including meat company Maple Leaf Foods, which bought meat alternatives company Lightlife Foods—which will remove all animal products by the end of 2017—for $140 million in February.

Historically Driff, City have signed dustbins, not soup tins. Is this a new strategy from the recently installed head of recruitment?

Yes, the 'removal of animal products is indeed a worry.

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

I understand we have Will Mannion who is reported to be mustard.

That means, like our previous U3 England goalie, he will play in the juniors for 17 years, get 27 seconds game time for the 1s and then end up at Raith Rovers, having paid the chap about £2m in wages.

Everyone a winner.

We might not have him long enough for that to happen, apparently Southampton want him.

Southampton bringing talent on v Hull Academy bringing talent on.

Hmmmmmm, ask .harvey Rodgers how it hangs. Sooner go to Hall Road Rangers than stick with City.

Apparently Mark .Hughes was over the moon mate at signing Tymon and, it was reported, is also hoping to sign Pumbaa at right back.
