It doesn't look good at all does it?

Without meaning to sound like driff tiger.....I reckon we are in for a bottom half finish 'but really hope I am wrong'

This Slutsky will have us in bottom half all season with a brief appearance in the top half come early march

A poor start to the season and a bottom 6 place til January were we will sign some loan players/spend some money and have a better 2nd half of the season that fizzles out come the daffodills making themselves shown.

I can't see any reason to be less optimistic than when we were previously relegated.

Anyway, wildly off topic, I've just read an article (link below) headed

Why Andrew Robertson Is Not The Answer For Liverpool’s Left-Back Problems

So I read it to find why he is not.

This is the sum total of reasoning relating to the headline:

"The Reds need to find a player with the right balance between attack and defence, and the Scottish star could be a decent solution. He is still young and will learn the game and should be given a chance at Anfield. However, it is hard to know if he is the right man for Liverpool in the Champions League next season."

So that's why he isn't the answer: "However, it is hard to know if he is the right man for Liverpool in the Champions League next season."

Stunning logic, or what?

Joined-up thinking required.

At this moment in time, those odds look ridiculously generous.
8th July and still no movement, other than out.
90% of our business done before 1st July #guffaw
Next target, 90% of our business before Portugal? Let's see.

People saying "yeah, but we're not just jumping in and signing anyone, so that's good". Implication being that other clubs are doing that. Yeah rite, like they would just sign players for the sake of it, but we wouldn't.

It's clear that with Enob at the helm, things aren't going right. #AllamsOut.

For now it remains an utter shambles, just like last year.

The fish rots from the head #AllamOut

Last time we went down we kept everyone bar Chester and Brady. It was a squad that should have been easily good enough for automatic promotion. If we'd bought Andre Gray as Bruce wanted, we'd have won the league.

Impossible to say this time but if we lose Jak, Hudds, Grosicki, Robertson and possibly Hernandez on top of what we've already lost, lower mid-table looks likely to me.
