Not going but want to stop Rooney scoring & beat them and get to Wembley for the fifth. Do the League Cup winners get a Europa Cup place?

They do indeed, a reason to get 'up for it' if a day out at Wembley and the possibility of winning our first ever trophy doesn't quite grab your interest.

Half a semi final, anyroad up. I'm interested to see how Silva deals with whatever needs dealing with and hoping MU aren't out of sight by the end of it.

Just hope we get through it without any more injuries or suspensions, and with pride still in tact.
I have a nasty feeling that it could a rather embarrassing night. Never before has a PL club had such a thin, weak and ill balanced squad to select from. Take a collective bow Messrs Bruce, Phelan and Enob.

Wanted to go to this, but fuck right off at that price.

Don't want to go to the home leg, but might have to go now.

Will make a point of watching it on telly, though.

Now then...

City had 5,000 there for round 3 or 4, pay on the day, a lot missed first 15 mins,

Scoreline was a bastard 5-0 even though we had a decent team

Despite having massively more lads outside afterwards City Didn't take advantage. '87?

Fast forward to today. 1st leg semi, 1,000.

It's an 8pm KO so where is the fukin train special so people can get home?

Something is not right eh!

The one where Les Thompson was booked (?) for a challenge on Brian Robson, who reacted in a disappointing way which took him down a few notches in my esteem.

I think everybody knows we don't stand a chance of beating them over 2 legs. We're no good against the bigger clubs like we were 8 years ago.

We are 20/1

Who would be 20/1 against us?

Not even North Ferriby.

As daft as it sounds. City playing Ferriby is a closer match up than city playing man utd.

If ever a semi final can be badly timed it's this one. On the back of a decent first result against PL opposition (for Silva) we face a top side but having to with no fit senior centre halves. I hope for a respectable, but fear the opposite.

Keep it, don't hoof it...

It was an odd game, like it was agreed before hand between the clubs. City appeared to do really well. I feared for them before the game.

Hudds n Harry, our new "H" factor, were really good against a decent forward line.

Diomandeshit was embarrassing again. Like Driff ends all his posts in "it's a mess" I'm going to end mine from now with "he doesn't even understand the rules" or "just running in circles rubbing your ear isn't nearly enough you fukin clown".

Wonder what diomandes wages are?

10k per week?

Should be paying the club subs and playing in the reserves as a none playin sub.
