Where/when was this announcement?

Trump tweets. You had to read between the lines. Fortunately one of the sources does that. May well take a few years.

Will it still be totally controlled by the US so Yankee sanctions can continue to be forced onto Third Parties? If so, it can fuck right off.

You'd rather be subject to the whims of various bankers? Their business is debt. No. It'll be better for everyone. Debt is a waste of money, unless you're running the casino. You know the Federal Reserve is a private bank, right? The US government doesn't control it.

Are the only alternatives death by poison or death by strangulation?

I'm rather hoping the chosen option doesn't include scum arranging wars and many deaths and currency crashes and misery just to line their own pockets.

Who does it, apart from Americans? There are very few wars where the US is not on one side or the other.

Are any of these Swampies of a certain ethno-religious grouping? Or lizards?

Of course, primarily Usans. As for second Q, nothing mentioned.

DNC televised debates: total waste of time. HRC will be running again, unless she's behind bars.

Trump ripped up the peace agreement with Iran, exactly what the religious extremists who run the country wanted.

ESSEX GULL

The "peace agreement", not ratified by the US Congress, involved Obama giving Iran $1.5billion.

Curious peace agreement.

1% of one rich American's wealth to avoid war, deaths and regional conflict. Seems like a pretty good agreement to me.

One post, you're criticising neo-libs for wanting war in Iran, then later on, you're criticising a pocket change peace agreement that avoided it. Pick a lane.

The money was Iran's in the first place. Payment for goods not delivered. International gangsters. The same ones that have impounded Venezuelan money in their banking system. The same ones that would send armed forces to release Americans charged in the International Court for War Crimes.

Opinion polls of the regime had never been lower, popularity for a regime change in the under-45s was sky high, street protests, opposition campaigns, women removing hijabs and crowds defending against the religious police.. All rolled back now because of Trump's disastrous handling of the deal.

Has a world leader ever been played so easily?

Regime change must come from within. American troops would be a disaster, but Trump only uses starving ordinary people into taking desperate action.

How do we feel about a return to the gold standard? Perhaps that allied with something else, perhaps rare earth metals or somesuch?

Not enough of it in the world compared to volumes of money flow. Go back to gold standard and the economy grinds to a halt, even more so as the population increases. Digital currencies get around this, but governments don't want, for obvious reasons.

The Saudis were backing Hilary for one reason - to enable the IPO of Aramco to take place in the US, the only country and market which can absorb the level of stock that raises ca. $200 billion cash for the Saudis. Aramco was hugely overpriced and the IPO would be dumping an ultimately worthless stock on the US shareholder/pension owner.

When Hilary lost the election, this IPO was 'delayed' and now being restructured to being re-presented after the next election, where they're banking on Trump losing.

This doesn't make Trump a good president, he's not, but as usual, follow the biggest loser/winners financially and you'll usually find the answers.

Significant?

No, I don't know either.
