Populism is evil and should be stopped. Unless it is left wing populism of course.

How are we defining populism?

Populism is when people support parties and people not approved of by the left. When it involves parties and people the left like it is an overwhelming expression of the people's wishes.

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

Bile, still fighting the Soviet Union, flanked by Ronnie Reagan and the Iron Lady. And we're still unable to get a drink at 3 am, despite liberating Europe!

The VOX party in Spain is a good example of a new populist party.

A new party in a country cautious of ultra nationalism yet achieved 2.6 million votes at the weekend gaining 24 seats in the Spanish parliament.

Its happening across Europe and the EU parliament is going to be full of Nigel Farage's after these elections.

It's a sign of the times who our political bedmates are. Britain's right are now celebrating the success of the Vox party, yet their policies and actions regarding Gibraltar, British residents in Spain and the Falklands are in stark contrast to what the UK right believes. Currently, the UK right see a closer kinship with a foreign political party that use their opposition to the UK to garner support in Spain, than with the likes of Corbyn etc... The irony can't be lost on anyone.

Candy, still coming out with the same old nonsense.

I am looking forward to Jezza getting in. As an OAP I will pay for nothing, get large increases and be looked after in my old age without paying a thing. Can't wait. With a bit of luck, though we haven't the largest oil reserves in the world like them so it may difficult, we will be like Venezuela have the sort of country they have and we should aspire to be like. It will be paradise.

The irony of someone supposedly with no connection to Hull or Hull City spending so much time on a Hull City forum isn't lost on anyone. Neither is the irony of someone who chose to leave this country and opted for a non EU country to go to prattling on about what the country he chose to leave should do and how wonderful the EU is whilst choosing not one of the 27 EU countries but one not in the EU.
