Hasn't graced us with his presence recently?

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

True, but neither has anyone else. I found a load of railway related pages on Facebook and they help keep me off here.

I'm not sure, but a 78 year old bloke has found nothing on here for days. Hope all is going well in Humberside. Things are shit down here, as usual. Hoping to escape the "Conference" more than you are hoping to escape the EU.

I do have a brand new and very tiny granddaughter, which is a strange thing to have. Never had one before. Luckily, these days, girls play football as well, although I'll be dead before she starts playing I suppose.

Glad you are OK. Worried you might have gone to join the Great Party Congress In The Sky.

Congrats on the granddaughter. My youngest granddaughter doesn't play football but plays rugby, as does my grandson. I have been explaining what wills are and reasons for cutting people out if them. One being not liking football and another not supporting Hull City.Bigsmile

Just had a look at the Division 4 table and thought your lot looked safe enough, but the sequence of results paints a very odd picture. You definitely need October again.

I'm more than a shade worried about Notts County, largely due to them being one of the 12 original league teams, and partly due to a mild affection in that direction from my various stints working thereabouts and watching what was then their first cup replay in 27 years.

They're constantly finding things wrong with me. Only arthritis constantly aggravates. The rest of the ailments seem to be highlighted and then ignored by me and the doctors.

Playing rugby isn't good, but it's not League is it? That would be a lot worse.

Winning at Tranmere and a draw at Lincoln changed things a bit. Had we got no points, as expected, instead of 4 points, I'd have said that was it. We just cant win at home against poor teams.

As for Notts. We've been around them for years now and we were always being derided and told how the new 'money man' would soon see us miles apart in the pyramid. It never has, so I will shed few tears.

It's union. Must get it through their other grandad who was a very good player who played for a team at a high level. I like union myself. One of my lads played rugby for a while as well as football and was better than I ever was. Not that I ever told him that at the time of course.Bigsmile

I do tend to judge the tail-end of Division 4 by the length of time the clubs have been in the league, but there are occasionally other factors. The first Hull City league game at Cheltenham (where my brother happens to live) was Cheltenham's first ever home game in the Football League and I went along, but our keeper was absurdly red-carded (mind you, he was't very good and made a habit of red-cards in days when stupid referees stupidly judged any contact whatsoever as a deliberate foul) and we lost 0-1. So when Cheltenham eventually started challenging for the Conference, I was only too pleased to cheer them in that direction.

Now then Candw, glad your OK, Northampton should stay up, we were once adrift at the very bottom by 6 points, maybe 9 for a few days, but we made a great escape.

Let's hope so, Ted. Since my tiny granddaughter was born we've got 8 points out of 12. I'm certain she's the 12th man. It may turn out to be a question of "are there 2 worse teams?", however.
