.. good to see my tax being spent wisely on the employee(s) who came up with this event...

UK fast becoming a complete joke country, along with Sweden and Canada.

And yet you stroll happily past those sleeping rough and those families living in bedsits and those dying as their fit for work letters arrive. Focus!

It doesn't actually exist where I live, but i understand your point.

I can be upset about homelessness and also upset that my tax is indirectly funding a 'try a hijab' day.

I can also query why tens of thousands of jihadis are allowed to return to the UK, but strangely enough, 10,000 Yazidi women held as slaves and now freed, are not given asylum. All very odd.

Writes the man who overstated the population of the EU by about 200 million.

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

Will they be having a don't wear a hijab day where Muslim women experience the freedom of not wearing one?

There shouldn't have one at all. What someone wears on their head should be a personal choice without the influence either way of a government organisation.

The state should merely be for re-distributing taxes and providing essential services to citizens, rather than promoting culture.

Are you really sure there should even be taxes?

As I wrote, for wealth redistribution and to fund essential services, yes.

Not to promote a feel comfortable in a headscarf day.

Do you have a rough costing for this day? And rough will really do. Would it have been less than or greater than the Brexit Impact studies they won't release?

Perhaps you misunderstand me. Any cost is too much because it's not what a government organisation should be doing.

The Brexit impact studies have been released and reported largely incorrectly. Brexit will supposedly make the Uk worse off by upto 8% from a projected economic growth baseline, extrapolated over 15 years.

In nearly 30 years in finance, ive never seen a 15 year economic projection that was correct.

Meanwhile, in Iran, women want to cast them off. Third wave feminism is a mental disorder and too many are following it blindly.

Fingers crossed for the Iranian revolution.
