“If some of us grow rich in our sleep, where do we think this wealth is coming from? It doesn’t materialise out of thin air. It doesn’t come without costing someone, another human being. It comes from the fruits of others’ labours, which they don’t receive.”

The article in which it is used.

Can you sleep at night wracked with guilt brought on by the thought that whilst you were dozing down the years your house meant your wealth had increased through no effort on your part? Totally unfair on the bloke down the road working longer hours, with fewer holidays and no subsidised pension scheme. And, even more unfair, your kids will inherit unearthed wealtht themselves from your house whilst the children of the bloke in the council house get nothing.

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

So for those who went without to invest and swerved the NOW gratification of spending on all sorts of shit should now feel guilty for having invested their time, money, skills and education perhaps.

Fuck off what a stupid article - it's not fair now because others chose to piss their money down the drain on other shite and the 'undeserving' got lucky.

This ugly politics of envy is like inventing a class war long after it disappeared.

What a cunt.

How do you square your 1% status with this shite?

On the Today programme last night, those who have worked hard, invested in themselves, saved, and avoided the temptation of debt, not, only having to pay for their own care, as against it being council funded, but are also paying substantially more for their care than those receiving identical care in the next room who are funded by the council, a double fucking whammy.

Even in fucking retirement the responsible are being asked to fund the irresponsible, what a fucking example this sets no wonder it's an uphill battle asking youngsters nowadays to plan for their retirement when they see injustice like this. My parents went without for fucking years, some would rightfully question why they did this when they could have had a better life spending the few quid they have and leaving the problem for others to sort. Most youngsters wont give it a second thought, and just continue to pile on the debt.

That's because they voted for those who offered lower taxes so provision couldn't be made for their old age care.
