Right. A change here. This (US Conservative) woman argues that the feminist movement has been hijacked by Marxists as part of a prolonged campaign to seize power. She quotes Marx as wanting to destroy the family and make women depedendent on the state. I mentioned elsewhere that the misfortunes of US blacks appears to stem from absent fathers (I believe the figure is 73% of black children over there growing up without fathers). This suggests the Marxist-feminist plan to destroy families is making inroads, but it's not to the benefit of those from wrecked homes. I hope we can agree that broken families work less well than properly functioning traditional ones. Seeing as I seem to be so good at misunderstanding what I see in these videos, prehaps m'learned friends could point out where this woman is leading me astray (but you can ignore the bit near the end where she gets into party politics).

Err, can someone return the real Other Phantom pronto.

ESSEX GULL

Yeah, blame my mate who persuaded me that the Tories are basically the antiChrist (though not in a religious way, of course). Turns out he has some very odd (and, I assume, lefty) ideas that I can't buy. Frinstance, he believes nobody should inherit anything from anybody (whereas I think inheritance tax is immoral) and he believes that nothing should ever be named after anybody, which I think is going to make a right mess of place names, street names, and the naming of animals and stuff in science. But there you go.

So, okay, I'll concede that the Democrats and Democrat-favouring media are not really left-wing. It does appear that a lot of US culture is, however, which is kind of weird. Confusing that the Republicans are the red team over there and the Democrats the blue team, but the Usans tend to get a lot of things the wrong way round.

There's some entertaining weirdness been going on over there about gridiron players protesting during the national anthem. Trump stuck in his tuppennyworth and the whole thing got polarised in no time, resulting in the NFL TV audience dropping. I shouldn't waste my time.

So the absent Black fathers live in the parts of the US controlled by Marxists? Or do Marxist-Feminist Black wives send them away against their will?

I thought you might be able to explain it to me. I'm no expert on social engineering, but I gather the figure for absent fathers in black communities was around 23% when the sixties started and is now around 73%. Something made it change. It might bet the Black Wives Matter lot.

As much left wing as Blair then. I gather Clinton (like Blair, like the Blairites in the PLP, like the Tories) are disciples of the awful neo-liberal economic theory. Is Trump also a believer in that, or could he do away with it in the US? Or is the US totally run by corporations and the colour of the president largely irrelevant? Is Trump really a Republican anyway?

Blair wasn't left wing. Trump will do what big business wants, just like Obama, Bush, Clinton and every other US President.

The colour of the President isn't irrelevant but...

Trump is a right-wing populist who is slowly learning how little power he really has.

I know Blair wasn't left wing, that's why I said it - since it had been mentioned that Clinton wasn't.

I don't understand your point. You said they press in the US is left wing but they overwhelmingly supported Clinton over Saunders. To me that says they are predominantly right wing.

I did say that, and you disagreed and said that Clinton wasn't left wing, and I accepted what you said, and compared her with Blair.

I.e; neither of them are.

If the press where left wing they'd have supported Saunders. Which I don't understand your point about the press being left wing as they supported Clinton.

If Left means not Right, some of the US MSM is Left. In British terms it isn't Left, but probably not as Right as the UK MSM. Or something.

Missed this. All of three weeks back.

Antifa declared terrorists by the US Department of Homeland Security.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/a mericas/antifa-domestic-terrorists-us-sec urity-agencies-homeland-security-fbi-a792 7881.html

Antifa claim they have plans for something big and nasty on November 4th, in five US cities. It'll probably involve attacking buildings and litter bins, until Soros's hired hands arrive, and then it'll get a bit violent. Get a ticket and bung the date in your diaries.

As the N America expert, ToP, have the Johnny Reb-Nazi Alliance been labelled in the same way? Or are they just citizens expressing their sacred held beliefs?

How would you define a terrorist?
