The extreme left, or hard left, believes in a not for profit NHS, a living wage, an end to sending money to exotic places to stop it paying income tax in the country where it makes the profit, adequate affordable housing, a not for profit education system not focused on 'employabilty', a country where everyone has access to the law, not just those with deep pockets and other similar 'not at all hard' things.

I'm pleased I am one of them.

I voted Labour in June for the NHS. I oppose the Tories in the UK. I agree with all your points above. They sound more like standard Labour than the extreme or hard left. I oppose the "neo-liberal concensus", which the Tories and the Blairite Labour MPs espouse.

I believe there is something different happening in Canada and the US.
