Sadiq Can't, Fire Brigade et al, write letter

So the root cause gets buried in a slow news period instead of when interest was at its height...

You know why. I blame the Tories (including that pale pink Tory Blair) giving big business what they wanted.

The root cause was the nice pretty cladding of the building which turned out to be highly combustible. Something you know as well.

Wonderful, exiled. Exposing dodgy "businessfolk" who are always looking for a way to screw extra money for less; flammable tiles, flammable white goods. Bonfire of the Regulations, eh? We need to publicly flog the bastards to set an example to others looking for the same easy money. It must be tough to speak against your class, but well done for grasping the nettle.

The Entrepreneurial Class, or Rip Off Artists to some. "Saved £2 using the plastic back. Result!"

I don't have any affinity what'soever to people who use unethical means to cut costs. Your assumption is not only wrong but 100% against the principles of long term capitalism.

I'm guessing the root cause of the deaths, as opposed to the fire, will be from the mediocre middle management class who okayed the material - blagging their jobs, despite knowing nothing about building materials - never spent a day on a construction site or in a factory, yet cutting costs to justify their overpaid jobs with zero knowledge of the actual consequences of their decisions.

In one mate - and that will be true of the council and the pri-sec they contracted with.

In UK business and pub-sec there is a thin but smelly layer of shit everywhere you go called the 'professional' class.
