I suppose this was bound to happen. and with the almost non stop horrors of life in London, it doesn't seem to have any affect any more, Corbyn says he's shocked although he was never shocked by IRA atrocities, he really is a cunt of the first order and the Muslim Council of Britain give us an immediate response

compared to

maybe its me but do I sense a slightly subtle change in response - the sheer outrage with calls of Islamophobia over last nights attack, compared to the rather genteel response and offering of prayers when it's carried out by 'one of their own'

I see this tit-for-tat sectarian / faith based violence being part of normal life for us in such richly metropolitan cities.

Of course in other countries this is the norm so we are being left behind.

In Mali last night jihad's killed two and injured others in a gun attack on a tourist area.

Get used to the multicultural utopia we have built

Muslims were slaughtering people in the name of Allah ever since the child molester supposedly flew up to heaven on a winged horse. Though they are even-handed as more Muslims are killed by fellow Muslims than are killed by non Muslims.

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

Good to see unedited reporting for a change, he shouted ' he wanted to kill all muslims' refreshing change from editing out the sensitive bits.

Refreshing to see the use of colour in the description of the attacker ' a 48 year old WHITE male', no calls from the left re this disgraceful reference to a persons colour when it has no reference to the crime and especially as they already had the cunt in custody so hardly needed to alert the public to this.

Nice to see the BBC giving airtime to those calling out those fundamentalist hate preachers Katie Hopkins and Piers Morgan, when it's left to the likes of Tommy Robinson to advise us of Muslim Hate preachers still in operation as the BBC wont go there.

and finally

Nice to see us pandering to the community and declaring it a terrorist incident in a record 8 mins, just 7.5 minutes after muslim leaders were claiming the authorities weren't treating this incident as seriously as previous ones.

Fuck the short term we will build a 1000 year Hull City Reich

Nothing much...except one scripture justifies it in their holy book a few times and the other does so only once.

One religion is going through a literalist phase at the moment with many adherents thinking it is the literal word of god given to an illiterate goat herder and the other is a post enlightenment pragmatic flock not normally given to such excesses.

Apart from that the same - no doubt after a couple of decades we will see the proportion of violent acts show in the actual ratios or we could just use the wealth of historical data we have to point us towards what is likely to happen.

Is there an obvious reason - from your deep knowledge of Islam - why the 2,500,000 who live here without driving into anyone or exploding are not driven by this magic book to join in?

The clean shaven white man was obviously no more a Christian than the Manchester/London killers were Muslim. And people who are not brain dead all know that.

He wasn't overcome with emotion, he expressed his opinions on the event with a certain amount of emotion, as human beings do. A Tory prefers the emotion shown by Mrs Gummidge, from behind a police cordon, when she's been called out for staying away.

The book mentions multiple times that to die via jihad is the best form of entering the paradise especially for those who have lead a less than devout and upright life. Think of it as akin to catholic confession with a lot more violence.

When western commentators wonder out loud why the perps of these attacks drank alcohol or like the 9/11 hijackers attended titty bars and collected pornographry they show their own ignorance. The book expressly urges the most sinful to put their lives right by martyrdom via jihad.

This is why many such folk are middle aged, have a life of low level crime and are hence 'known' to authorities.

The clean shaven Christian (is he a Christian?) by contrast appears from protestations at the scene to be seeking revenge but given that scripture was not cited in the attack is it anything more than an idiot revenge attack.

The killer of Lee rugby by contrast had in every pocket scraps of paper with scriptural justifications for his actions.

I think that's why one approach is labelled an Islamist terror attack and the other a hate crime.

You can't really get revenge on a suicide bomber, can you?

I suppose he was radicalised by the Mail and the Sun or on Twitter. The outpourings of hatred and filth on there is scary and he will feel he was carrying out the desires of a large number of people. He just wasn't very good a it, which is good. Hatred is no match for faith, however warped the faith may be.

On that we will have to disagree - almost all faith by definition imbues it's adherents with hateful thoughts.
The principle one is that one is forever enslaved by a divine and all seeing celestial dictator that can convict you of thought crime and knows your inner most thoughts. That they almost all exclusively require spreading by the indoctrination of children the acceptance of their 'divine' wisdoms without any evidence and the presentation by men (it's mostly men) who otherwise the tribe would almost certainly convey no natural status on is more troubling than mere hate it's sinister in its systematic subjugation of others.

Sorry religion is a cancer from a more primitive time
That I had hoped we'd evolved from - I am saddened that just as we had seen the truth of its baloney that we appear to have unwittingly imported more Infantile strains only of use to backward societies.

This doesn't sit right with me.
The only person to hear him say that he "wanted to kill Muslims", was the Muslim that he surrendered to.

The same Muslim that said there was another 2 men sitting in the van with the assailant.

Some witnesses said he surrendered peacefully, the Muslim that apprehended him said he had to be restrained, hence why he beat him half to death.
If he wanted to "kill Muslims", why didn't he mount the kerb?
Why was the only Muslim he killed already lying on the ground, been given first aid for a coronary problem he'd suffered earlier?
I suspect it's nothing more than a drink driving incident, being used to fit the narrative of "White people are terroists too".

Anyway expect to lose the little freedom of speech we have left when posting online as a result.

If this is in fact a false flag, I suspect the blame to lay at the door of the stepson.
The following pic suggests that he's brainwashed this upstanding citizen, the man that took him in, and raised him as his own, into becoming an Islamist.
His Isis hand gesture definitely points that way.

Expect him to commit "suicide" soon, leaving a full confession, penned in someone elses handwriting..

Because you called - often called - DA racist, despite her not preaching hatred of another group.

"Every single Muslim watching this... You had better understand that we have built a network from one end of this country to the other end, and we will not tolerate it, and the Islamic community will feel the full force of the English Defence League if we see any of our citizens killed, maimed or hurt on British soil ever again."

Sounds like the radicaliser of the Welsh bloke.

When challenged on that speech, Robinson insisted that ‘the full force’ meant democratic process.

“It is not a threat, it is a promise. We will keep tackling these issues. We are a pressure movement to put pressure on the government and the Islamic community.”

Anyone who thinks TR is a racist, far right or hate figure should read 'enemy of the state'.

I say this as a parallel similar to reading the Koran if you want to understand the issues on both sides.

If not just shout racist at him over and over until you believe that islam (a religion) can be a race

He's got the minerals to say what politicians and talking heads should have been saying for two decades.

We, as a world, should be harvesting minerals from Mars now, instead we've spunked billions on wars in the Middle East, decades of a political class pretending to respect believers of Aled and we've even been moronic enough to fund schools and community groups that teach about Aled as if it were true. Even now, how much time and energy is wasted giving a toss about nutters who believe in fairy stories.

Collective madness.

I agree with most of that, gull, but we've done what we've done. Going back to a time we hadn't done it is not possible. If we could go back the 'powerful people' would probably repeat the same mistakes. We must now try to advance the situation we actually have, before IS cells clash on the streets with Tommy Robinson's Militias. Hate preachers are not the way to peacefully make progress.
