You cunts are already focussed on the secondary cause and associated witch hunts. People bleating about sprinklers etc. all fucking wise after the event.

I live on the 31st floor - there are no sprinklers, the plan is stay put until the services get there.

Our appliances are tested every years

The DIRECT ROOT cause of this fire was an electrical fire in a fridge and the casualty toll likely as high because the flat owner took his time (allegedly) to pack all his things before raising the alarm.

In a fucking nutshell that is this board - focus on secondary matters rather than the real issues.

CLASS WAR will sort it won't it...

Heads will roll but plugs wont get changed

This sounds quite ridiculous.

So someone's fridge explodes/inflames. One would assume a fire alarm went off somewhere in his flat. I'm not a landlord, but I would assume basic legislation would say at least one fire alarm must be fitted in a dwelling. If he packed up or not, phoned the fire brigade or not, or was a bit lackadaisical letting others know by raising the alarm, I'd be a wee bit concerned with how the building went up like petrol was being poured on it.

Basic fire safety should not result in a block of flats inflaming like that. Modern safety systems should warn and evacuate people from the place within plenty of time to avoid loss of life. Staying in a burning building is not and never should be anything other than a last resort.

Buy cheap, cost lives.

'Buy cheap costs lives'

Another fucking idiot.

Same cunts that would normally be demanding a public inquiry (which are quite rarely granted and certainly not at the pace this one was) now want to work it all out before the inquiry has even started.

We've also become such a nation of 'public' grievers that we now demand it as anything more private just isn't the way it's done anymore.

Fuck the short term we will build a 1000 year Hull City Reich

It's the on-line lynch mob mentality.

Half of the twats bleating about tiles will be driving root round in fucking two star NCAP cars. Amazing how good people are at spending everyone else's money.

Any of you armchair forensic scientists got fireproof paint in your houses? Flameproof wall paper? Even a better ware fire extinguisher - yeah thought not....

Exiled, you demanded a public legal enquiry and organised protests because a member of your family wasnt allowed to buy a ticket to a football game in Huddersfield. I think it's fair enough that a community is angry and demands an enquiry because 600 residents' homes burned away in 4 hours, along with a significant number becoming trapped and dying.

Yours and Peri's anger and resentment towards the protesters and help volunteers, rather than the authorities' and private companies' decisions that lead to this tragedy are probably more symbolic of how twisted you've both got in supporting private enterprise rather than the victims affected.

Nothing more to say.

What does that say? In English, of course. Is "spending other people's money" what others would describe as "making sure homes are fit for human habitation"?

I know you probably live in a mansion, but comparing a house to a tower block does seem rather unintelligent.

I've demanded no such inquiry.

The landlords/builders/contractors should be investigated for manslaughter it's as simple as that IMO. Let a jury decide.

Basic common sense says in the 21st century a block of flats should not burn like an Australian bush fire following an alleged fridge explosion.

Talk about barking up the wrong fucking tree.
I actually started the change.org petition regarding high rise towers and ageing electrical appliances within fucking hours of the fire.
That's because I am a man of ACTION not words.

My comments were aimed at those shallow do-nothing fuckers who hand wring and agonise whilst doing nothing more than #tears and #virtuesignalling. They were also aimed at those who turned the whole thing political - Terrorist attack no hysteria, no clamour, no anger just dignified grieving and 'part of normal life'. Bring up radical Islam and you get pilloried.

Fire in council tower block and all the agenda waving starts

I did protest about bubble matches and civil liberties and I did it cross party and rationally - it's why we won

gang politics achieves nothing by comparison

No idea why that might be, I suppose? You really are dim if you see no difference. Do you, perhaps, have shares in Ronson Cladding Ltd?

Managing to make football cross political? Fuck me!

I think I've just realised that you are blaming the Ethiopian bloke with and old fridge for the fire, rather than the owners and cladders and those whose POWER SURGE blew the fridge, Please tell me I'm not right.

If I am right, are you offering a Cloud Funded replacement for old electrical appliances for all tenants in tower blocks?

Rather a silly statement old chap when an inquiry was granted almost immediately. I have expressed no anger towards residents or volunteers, just muppets on here who have already concluded their inquiry

I never said or suggested you had. I agree with what you say and that is surely that is exactly what the public inquiry and criminal investigation will determine. I called you an idiot for your 'buy cheap cost lives' shite as it appears you cant wait for the aforementioned inquiry and investigation and already have the answer
