When you were young there was NO subject you could have studied at university. Your learning to do 'joined up writing' was a small personal triumph for you, but not in the wider world. Believe me, I was a teacher.

unfortunately today, joined up writing, spelling and basic arithmetic are significantly worse than 40 years ago - teachers seem to prefer more modern holistic methods which mean most of our young leave school without basic skills unless they can use a computer which does everything for them

"The computer can do everything for them." It's called progress. I suppose you pen long letters to your relatives in copperplate handwriting? Yet you can't be arsed to punctuate your posts properly. I'm sure you've even posted that that doesn't matter, which would be a typical hypocritical rightist nonsense.

I blame the fucking teachers, all started when no one was allowed to win, as it upset the others too much, this is just a natural progression.

Fuck the short term we will build a 1000 year Hull City Reich

1997 - Labour 418 seats
2001 - 413 seats
2005 - 355 seats
2010 - 258 seats
2015 - 232 seats
2017 - 262seats

hardly a resounding vote of confidence in Corbyn, at the end of the day, Labour got fucked and only managed that number of seats because they bribed the countries children by promising to give them £9000 a year

Unlike the Tories who bribe the wealthy with tax cuts.

When was the last time Labour got 40% of the vote?

You could study classics, languages, Ancient Greek, theology, philosophy and many outdated subjects that had few work roles outside of study.

Never heard of the subjects you mention. I know golf course management was mocked on here by Bile once, until stats proved it had one of the highest direct transition into work for graduates of any degree.

You don't even realise how entitled you were.

Not sure Obi I'm still a bit giddy celebrating our victory over Spurs, which was just a bit better than our victory at Bournemouth

You do realise that Thatcher had continuous links and negotiations with Sinn Fein behind the scenes, attempting to gain a peace compromise. The 'do not negotiate with terrorists' was merely bread and circuses for the proles reading the Sun. Her diaries and released intelligence documents show a decade of dialogue.

Or our victory after 45 minutes against Arsenal in the FA Cup Final.

There will be another election within the next 5 years. Be interesting to see what happens to the Labour and Tory vote once May comes back with the Brexit deal. I'd say the momentum is with the left at the minute. Labour may even start making inroads into the SNP vote as well.

May jumping into bed with a party that has links to Irish terrorists is an ironic twist after the last 10 weeks.

Can u believe they let this dark lord of evil stand with the other politicians? Also who is the guy with the bucket on his head next to her?

Why does she always stand with her legs so wide apart, is a rabbit secreted somewhere? Nice pic, but she'd look better riding in a car near a 'grassy knoll'. ScotlandDiamonds 9
