Strange times.. Diane Abbot and Sadiq Kahn being blamed by most of the UK media for not personally locking up all 23000 suspected jihadis and not forcing MI5 to act on information passed onto them from the Muslim community.

How on earth are the Tories and May escaping any responsibility? And instead it being put on a mayor who has been in his job just over a year and a black woman who has never even held a ministerial post. There's a lot of people getting played here.

Abbott's putting her hand up and saying 'pick me as Home Secretary and trust me to do a better job than the Tories', clearly she's incapable of doing any job which is why she's a laughing stock - if Corbyn was serious about ever getting into power, firstly he should never have appointed her, but having made that mistake, secondly he should have got rid of her long ago, presumably she's still got the negatives

Tory thinking. Blackmail and lying, because there are NO POSITIVES. Austerity and still debt doubled, cuts to immigration and record levels still come, economy slowing to a stop, productivity hopeless, preening around with wayward missiles and new ships that break down, our only friend is Trump. But - Diane Abbott.

Duh, because it's least worst time gull.

Quality leaders are hardly queuing up to serve are they?

Sadiq is a cunt for not calling out extreme islamism and for telling us this is the new 'normal'.

Is Abbot even a serious shout for Home Secretary?

The only ones getting 'played' are those that say it's a media conspiracy when JC puts up a team like he has...

The Tories have always had posh buffoons but Abbott is just a Buffoon

Many of the serious contenders in Labour refused to work under Corbyn. Abbot is a senior politician who did agree. At least you can 'vote' for Abbot being home secretary effectively.. no one could regarding Johnson being foreign secretary.

Not really sure why Kahn needs to call out extreme Islamism.. it's fairly obvious. He probably doesn't want to agitate the situation and letting the security forces do their work.

Neither parties should be using the attacks during their campaigning.

If you really think that's why "media conspiracy" is used, you are lying. Quite simply. In the debate, May was interrupted 5 times while giving rote answers. Corbyn was interrupted 41 times. May's latest terror speech was played in full on BBC, Corbyn's had 4m 30s and was chopped. Headlines about what Corbyn has said are usually false or slanted or taken out of context. May basically says "strong and stable" and is lauded for it. Tightly knit shots of May talking to a crowd are just that, Corbyn's 10,000 are probably not shown. I could go on, but you would say I was lying, but I need to get things off my chest now and then.

Take your red tinted glasses off you old fool. The MSM I am studying looks pretty fair and they are all suggesting serious questions need to be asked as regards how these latest scumbags slipped under the net. They are rightly saying these questions should be asked of the govt and security services (on May's watch). The issue of Abbot and Khan being useless / denying cunts is a separate matter that quite rightly is also receiving coverage. Agree with Exiled it's 'least worst' time and for Jessa and his team to now conveniently get behind the police and offer all the support necessary is a bit rich after their track record of opposing all such needed legislation

Don't know what shit you're reading, or smoking, to claim such bias or that everyone is blaming Abbot / Khan for the atrocities.

The BBC and C4 etc are constantly stating how well attended Corbyn's speeches are, last night they stated it was probably the best turnouts since Winston Churchill was doing the rounds.

Your 'it's not fair' stance is as pathetic as normal.

You're right, Tory Boy, the press has been totally even handed. May did her best for 6 years despite being hampered by these powerful political figures blocking everything she wanted to do.

Maybe May has a few questions to answer, but it's probably Diane Abbott's reign as Home Secretary that 's really to blame.

3 papers, mmmm

How many papers are there in the UK?

How many TV channels?

Absolutely not blaming Corbyn for these attacks, but quite rightly educating people as to the danger of voting for Corbyn and his cronies and dismissing the simplistic assumption that the recent tragedies are down to May's policies and therefore implying that they would not have occurred under Corbyn. Also pointing out the duplicitous statements made by the Labour leadership wrt. their level of support in the fight against terrorism. FFS he's often bragged about his voting against all such measures.

The more links you put up to support what I have already clearly said the dimmer you look old man

I guess that makes Corbyn a racist as well, after all why hasn't he asked his white MP's to take a holiday.

Nice effort. You make your own assumptions about what was said and then deny those assumptions. You deny that cuts to police and security services are anything to do with acts of terror and that bombing attacks by our country on Libya, Syria etc play no part in stirring terrorism. You ignore 'talk big May' who has stopped one terror suspect coming back to the country and whose people ignored someone flagged by the Italians as a definite suspect. Corbyn has voted against measures he feels will exacerbate problems, but has supported measures that he thinks effective. I know you like politicians who always vote 'the right way; the Politburo used to expect the same level of support from their Deputies.

What I am pleased about is you showing your true, blue colours and making no further pretence not to be a Tory. You're happy to vote for proven failure, shown by May and her cronies, despite being a Labour man at heart. I'm pretty sure that heart is not the word I need.
