I voted out so I have no idea.

How you voted isn't the point. It is will the Remainers shut up?

2005 Labour got 355 seats from 35.2 % of the vote on a 62.4% turnout. 2015 Tories got 331 seats from 36.9% of the vote on a 661% turnout. Left wing fannies moan the second one is sooooo unfair and we need electoral reform. But didn't utter a peep, about the first one.

All opinions once again, but I'm guessing that May wants full democratic mandate so she can use the whips effectively to OK her eventual Brexit deal, rather than MPs veto it and the UK end up on WTO tariffs - securing her version of Brexit rather than reversing it as you suggest.

I suspect they will follow the example of those who lost the vote in 1975.

Not much mention has been made of the Remainers' favourite, the LibDems. And the angry ones who voted against immigration - and despite protestations to the contrary, that's a large number - will rally to UKIP - if it hasn't self-destructed by then. Still. it'll leave the state of the NHS, the shortage of housing, crippled people being impoverished and shit productivity until another Tory PM's Machinations have played out.

But when Jezza is elected, as that is what the people really want, we will move forward into broad, sunlit uplands...won't we?

Sounds better then the mess the Tories have dropped us in.

Well, it is an expression used in a famous speech by a great Tory leader.

So confident that she'll win she has 100% ruled out a debate with the Labour leader. I suppose she's kind enough to not want to show him up. She is a committed Christian, of course, so that's possible.

Even if Corbyn was ace he'd have a hell of a job turning it round as they're 100 seats behind. They haven't a hope then.

The first general election I got to vote in was 1979. No party I've voted for has become the government.

Perhaps I should vote Tory and jinx the bastards.

Possibly but two or three years is a long time in politics.

Alternatively she knows without a larger number of moderate Tories on the benches she'll never get the deal passed her own backbenchers. It will be a hard sell to pay a £50 billion divorce settlement plus a few billion a year to get a trade deal. Oh and then there is immigration and feeding the demand of her big business friends for skilled labour from Europe. Many a slip between lip and cup.

God knows how this one will go with all the extra considerations.

Just heard a young lass on BBC saying ' I'm absolutely full of dread at having to go through all this again, I'm only 20 years of age and it's already my 2nd (or 3rd) election

FULL OF FUCKING DREAD! With silly fuckers like that on the electoral register, exactly 100 years after kids 3,4, 5, years YOUNGER than her had endured 3 years in the fucking trenches, I despair.

Fuck the short term we will build a 1000 year Hull City Reich

Can you tell us when we can watch Putin debating with opposition leaders? Any left alive that is.

Any links to debates of Castro in debates with opposition leaders?

I bet you are fascinated by Question Time.

Poor lass. If only she lived in a Workers' Paradise she wouldn't be burdened by these things.
